Are you satisfied with the new patch's response to Trials?

Main issue I see is the melee imbalance so yeah it's a start.

Yeah, totally agree. The melee imbalance is an issue and fixing that would be a solid first step. Melee just doesn’t feel as smooth or rewarding compared to other playstyles.
I'm biased because I learned Sanctum this league in the first game and I love it, and Sekhema outside of a few BS mobs like rare Risen Magi was in a great spot before and is better now. It's like running Sanctum but getting loot instead of fish for the right rooms or it's bust.

But, making either one of the current mechanics mandatory is poison for players vs. "Can you do a pretty long map with some traps on it?" like labs in the first game. I hope Act 4's ascension mechanic is more generalized for the majority of builds because I get how farming relics for "The full Sanctum run" and banking on the perfect set of Ultimatum modifiers can get very asinine.
U THAR, LET ME BEND YOUR REAR FOR A MINUTE
Sekhema/Sanctum enjoyer
Lol. No. Honor needs to be removed. It has no place in the game. Not even as an optional mechanic, there is not enough content to make a big part of the endgame a niched mini-game. Add it a few years down the line if you must, but absolutely not at launch.
Sanctum trials are absolutely ruining it for me. I guess I just won't ascend.

I never thought I would say this but I actually miss the labyrinth now.
I'm going to keep repeating this: Why did GGG think giving a secondary health bar (Honour) that is unaffected by armour, doesn't replenish easily and doesn't even start off topped off was good idea?

Can someone answer me this?
Sanctum should have been removed from POE1 and never gone main!

Sanctum is NOT a arpg element.

Sanctum is a roguelike mechanic.

Sanctum disregards a massive part of the game (defenses), requires certain builds and RNG on which room you get.

Sanctum is shit.

Sacntum is a Roguelite dungeon. In Roguelite games like Binding of Isaac, Deadlink etc its generally harder to replenish your health and once you die the whole run is over. The Honor system is a thing so you can fail the Sanctum without actually dying and losing XP or a Hardcore character. Sanctum is the safer Trial compared to Ultimatum that just straight up kills you.

I just did my second sekhema, overleveled so I had 4800 honour. I was full honour at last room before the boss in second floor. Suddenly SOMETHING hit me for 4200 honour, I have no idea what, I wasn't near anything.

At the boss room with 600 honor, I dodged behind the bosses and something hit me for 500 honor behind them both.

At that point I just logged out, I can't fathom how stupid and bugged this whole thing is.
I am lvl 74 warrior Titan. Can't do third ascension because:

- No barya (I have to grind lvl 60 areas that give no exp for a slight rare chance for one to drop? no thank you) (market prices are ridiculous, and people don't answer)
- Warrior too slow, no evasion, armour means nothing for damage avoidance
- Melee slams means you get close and can't dodge all the ground explosions
- Honour doesn't replenish (or rarely does)
- Debuffs are too nasty
- Buffs too weak
- Sacred water often is useless cause no merchant available
- Even at almost maxed out relic honour resistance: when you get hit, you get hit.

I don't mind challenge, heck I don't mind grind. I play this game to have fun. I am locked behind a frustrating mini-game. There is not a single ounce of fun-factor in it, and does not represent what the real game is.

There is only one way to solve this: remove honour, give us an NPC that sells barya (or remove barya). Let use use our builds (that we work hard for and grind for and tinker on). Let our builds be tested, not our patience.
