And to the rest of what you've written: Occasional deaths are also a You problem. The game doesn't kill you occasionally without your own influence, when you have a well balanced gear. Otherwise reaching high positions in the HC ladders would be pure luck based...but strangely it's always the same names on the top. So, no...it isn't luck. It still needs knowledge, if you want to run full juiced maps and prevent deaths. You are the one, who decides, which mods a map has. You are the one, who decides to continue a map, after you've realized, that a map has enemies, that are dangerous for your build/gear. One death every 10 maps is a lot btw... I guess your build has more flaws, than you want to admit. Or it just isn't ready enough for those high juiced maps.
In other words, you think the game is perfectly balanced, there aren't server lag issues, and the visual clarity(ie ground clutter) is in a perfect state. There are no more updates required aside from adding classes, gear, and acts.
And no, 1 death in 10 maps is not a lot, especially if you don't have a build that clears maps in less than 5 minutes. I should at least have the option to recover my XP. You are simply just unreasonable

Seriously, it's beyond frustrating to have the same whining over and over again just because people can't understand that levels past 90 are OPTIONAL.
They. Are. Meant. To. Be. Tedious. To. Get.
It's beyond frustrating to have the same people insisting that frustrating the player is good design.
Players want engaging challenges, not frustrating game mechanics that are only there to slow down progression in an artificial time sink.
You're the one frustrating yourself, not the game or the devs. Only you. It's literally all in your head.
You can stop being frustrated at any time, all you need to do is acknowledge and accept the fact that it's intentional the way it is in order to keep too many players from reaching the optional high achievement levels without putting in loads of effort and dedication.
As soon as you do that: Boom. You can play the game however you want, free from the gnawing need to collect imaginary EXP/Levels that won't even make you stronger.

Lol, yeah free to play the game however I want as long as I ignore one of the goals which is maxing out my skill points because for a handful of builds that use expensive gear those last 10 points don't matter.
The game is perfect, any complaints about balance issues are a figment of my imagination, ie the great leader is perfect and any dissenting opinion is based on pure delusion.
Btw, I'm not frustrated with the game at all anymore. Since I uninstalled and got into Elden Ring the frustration has been at a minimum. I enjoy the real challenge of meaningful combat and the good design that allows me to regain XP on death. It's irrelevant to me that it's a different kind of RPG, at it's core it's basically the same experience except From Software understands dying is a part of games and the punishment should be within reason.
You have fun convincing yourself a bad design and balance is somehow a meaningful challenge.

Everything you just said proves to me that you are the problem. What you are looking for is a non-seasonal game. The entire point of seasonal games is that everyone is rushing to progress but only very few achieve the highest highs each season. Getting lvl100 should NOT be year goal, unless you MAKE it your goal and go the 600+ hour grind, including constantly running Amelioration.
You need to play a different game, tbh. MMORPG sounds much more like what you're after.

Everyone stop for a second and imagine how much healthier the game and its community would be if people who made forum posts insulting other players for dying in a video game would have all of their existing and future characters forcibly transferred to hardcore servers.
That system would solve so many problems in one fell swoop.

You are the problem. Just leave this forum, uninstall the game, and never look back. This isn't for you.

No matter how hard you try you aren't getting that EXP penalty removed.

Or maybe...just maybe some people should stop feeling insulted, when other players say, that it could be there own fault and that they could improve themselves. Or even better: they could get some advice from more experienced players and ask, why they die that often and suffer of the xp loss.
But no, nowadays everyone thinks, he is absolutely flawless and the rest of the world needs to change, when issues occur. It's so much easier and convenient to argue around in a forum, than question yourself (just like the guy above us, who thinks one death every ten maps is not a lot). And everything else is a pure insult of course. Are you one of those, who would rather sue the school instead of accepting bad grades from your kids and motivate them to learn more?

Weird use of commas aside, you are championing the cause of people who claim they have flawless gameplay and never die, so this line of argumentation really doesn't make much sense.
