Remove SSF mode

This is not like the SSF mode in PoE. This game is optimized around magic find and farming currency for trading, which is useless in SSF. This makes the mode 100 times more frustrating than the easy mode and creates lots of negative feedback from disgruntled players.

haha.

You don't really understand ssf much do you. having more currency in SSF is a good thing, cause you need it to roll your drops.

Stick to the game and get off the forums dawg, you're out of touch.
Step 1 is to self reflect.
I play SSF and I believe what it needs is a higher baseline item rarity (for non-SSF as well).

The game's loot is just horribly sad for a "looter game" at the baseline 0% Item Rarity.

Personally I feel the baseline should be at what 100% is currently. At least things start to drop at this item rarity.

But really I feel Item Rarity shouldn't be on gear. It should be somewhere else. But there are certain design decisions in POE2 that are archaic but the devs seem to cling to them like gospel, so I doubt if it will ever change.
I first played standard HC, without trading anything, just hoarding with multiple characters (I always like to have a few at roughly the same level to not get annoyed when one dies and I have to start from scratch). Loot is bad. Very bad. The fact that every once in a full moon I drop (usually from random monsters, not bosses) a rare that can carry me through an entire act is not okay. And that only works well in normal mode. Once Cruel rolls in, the affixes pool widens, the minimum acceptable tier of said affixes goes up and, somehow, it feels like the MF does absolutely nothing, be it 10, 40 or 80% (I just couldn't stack more without risking dying to a strong fart from random monster).

So, yeah, a game designed for and balanced around Trade that has an exact same model with trade disabled could easily shake said mode off. One can resist the temptation of using trade without it having been forced through the game mode.

Buuuut, it would be much better if SSF would have some values tweaked a bit, just so you don't go lvl 30 to lvl 70 with mostly the same gear, because RNGesus is a twisted god with a bad sense of humor.
Anyone saying this is a skill issue is wrong. It's a luck issue and there is no way for a player to fix that.

Systems have to change to be less luck-based and more deterministic for SSF to really work.

Remember: You arent skilled, just lucky. Show a little humility because but for the grace of RNGesus you could be one of the poor dudes using a weapon 20-30 lvls below your character level.

Hell, I was one of them until I got LUCKY and finally rolled a decent lvl appropriate crossbow...THIRTY FIVE LEVELS LATER!

It's ass.
This is a bait post, why are people engaging with the obvious troll?

Base game should be balanced on SSF. Then add trading top of it, if you dont want to collect stuff on your own.

If you balance it on trading, you make everyone trade and outside of it game is broken.
