Isn't respeccing way too cheap right now?

I'm probably not going to make myself popular with this post, but I feel that respeccing is way too cheap.

I'm lvl 85 right now, and I could respec my entire character 10 times over and still have some gold left. I like semi-permanent choices (that's why I'm against changing ascendancy), it forces me to think about those choices.

Personally I like the system in Grim Dawn. Every time you respec it gets more expensive. So the first one might be 1000 gold, but the 100th time you respec it will cost you 100.000 gold. This should give you enough flexibility to experiment and make mistakes, but it will probably cost too much to respec your entire character.

You are level 85 not everyone else is. When GGG comes back and brings the nerf bat to peoples build. They will need to respec so making it cheap enough that everyone can afford it will be best cast currently
it's around perfect right now. the real gold dump is gambling NPC. specially for SSF players. if you think you have too much gold you're just not gambling

I pumped about 2 million in gambling and it got me literally zero sellable items.

QQ need to build a GF baba so I can sit and gamble all day now.. no more hideout warrior crafting QQ

and OP cost is fine... If you respec endgame testing different variants you can burn 5mill in an instant. With no current Path of Building out this is the only way to test different variations of builds.

What we do need, is a 'real' gold sink in the endgame. I have several millions of gold and I have nothing to spend it on. Gambling? Sure, if someone links me a level 90+ weapon worth using, I might try it out, but my experiences are crap.

If it's THIS easy for someone to create an account, farm up some gold and make it an AH sniper for the rest of the year, I don't really see the point in the AH having a gold cost.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
I feel like this is a conversation that will be more important as EA wraps up and we get closer to launch given the current state of flux the game is in and the desire for data. And, while I'm generally with you on semi-permanent choices, I also hate escalating costs. That's probably a personal thing, but they rub me the wrong way. And I'd rather have to find a (very) rare item and do another trial to change ascendancies than be unable.
2M are rookie numbers.
so, yeah. respeccing is fine. it shouldn't be a wall when you have other stuff to spend your gold on

Exactly your playing trade. SSF people have to gamble just to get upgrades. Crafting is gambling.

This is a pointless post to try and get E Credit.
