zoomer meta gamer mentality ruined poe1 and will ruin poe2

this was the worst thing about poe1. the way the community became so tired and disillusioned with the game that they wanted it to become faster and faster so people could zoom through the game and reach the end game content at a quicker pace.

A partial solution to the zoomer problem (: What if for every character that you level from L1 to L60 you get 1 free character that you can start at L50 (Act 6?) with 2 ascendancies. Life is short. Not everyone will be able to commit to a ''give up the rest of my social life'' mentality for poe2. Most people aren't streamers and actually have real lives, jobs, families, and responsibilities. It only makes sense to allow people to have this kind of option. You will still have to level from Level 1 every Other character so the campaign will still have to be experienced. This is a great middle ground solution.

Give us a L50 character for every character that we level from L1 to L60.

bad bad zooming, shame on the guys that want to become faster. solution: lets skip campain because casuals dont have time

nice try troll
dude with 0 supporter packs talking about what will or won't ruin POE lmfao.
Never beat Maven and still enjoyed zooming through maps in POE1. T16 map bosses could be absolutely brutal depending on your build too. In POE2 it absolutely feels amazing in Sekema with my +100% movement speed relics and the +40% movement boon. In waystones? I feel like I'm a granny telling the trees why stone masonry is evil.

If any, I like pacing to be like Diablo 2. You go at reasonable pace, not too fast or too slow all over the path to hell baal. (You indeed even slower in hell) But PoE 2 as I see for now is ... both too slow at first and too fast at late.

The game also rely heavily on gear/support gem than character progression. Feel like mobile game instead of good old arpg.

I'm down with most of the above. I could do with a modern day D2 even if the game felt harder than early D2 ever was.

Casuals won't replay this. Some may never make it to the atlas.

Most league mechanics in PoE1 are designed to punish you for not being as fast as possible. Even now in PoE2 doing Breach or Delirium actively punishes you if you play any kind of slow and deliberate build. You have to have turbo clear because GGG still insist on making all league mechanics time based, which translates to a DPS check. That's why I have hated almost all leagues in the later half of PoE1's lifespan. Legion, Breach, Delirium, Incursion, Abyss, Blight, are all unplayable if you're not playing some meta build focused on speed clearing, exploding mobs, chaining, what have you. If you're not doing this you cannot participate and you get 1% as many rewards as a good build.

The rest of the later leagues are all stupid mini-games that don't belong in PoE at all, like TotA, Sanctum, Ultimatum (ironically the leagues we are forced into), Settlers, harvest were all horrible horrible leagues revolving around doing other stupid minigames that has nothing to do with the game.

Unironically the best leagues in PoE1 were ones that just added items, crafting gimmicks, and mobs to fight on the maps like Exiles, tormented spirits (ass but got better later), Essences, Strongbox etc. Things you just interact with while playing the game.

Me? I'm not the devs. Nor the guy you were talking to. GGG didn't and won't balance around them. My point is casuals will not be back. They're one and done. Fun and cum.
op is not the player fault for the zoom meta

but the dev fault , too put all the tool in the game .and just wait player discover them
(Temporalis) ect...

poe2 suppose to bring back player that hate the zooming meta , sadly all this is just a broken promise in my opinion , i expect this to be honest because ggg back history never be able to nerf something a long period of time

for sure the next big patch will really reveal the direction of the game
play my first rpg on the intellivision :)
