My temperatures Never exceed 70 celcius at anypoint during gameplay. 99% of the time its below 65c while playing even in the most intense frames.

This is a hardware issue not the game.

What is your processor cooler?

That is not how that works, high temps are related to high CPU usage, which is known issue with the game.

Also your CPU is already on the hotter end and I bet you are using water cooling solution.
I’d also point out that the loading times for maps and game areas are absolutely ridiculous.

That is how that works; assuming they have adequate cooling, your CPU and GPU are designed to run at full load for prolonged periods without issue. If any computer shuts down due to overheating, the cooling is at fault.

It does not matter that this game, or any other software is poorly optimised, even if their relative performance is poor, all computers should be able to run at max load. If anyones computer shuts down because of overheating they need to address the cooling, as it is inadequate, or needs maintenance.

Yeah, not really. The first para is objectively accurate but that is not what the problem is.
This game has poor multi threading optimization, it captures at most 2 cores and uses it to the fullest(100%) and expends the rest of the information to the other threads limitedly.
This causes a false 100% usage and leaves the OS with no CPU to use and therefore a crash.

Majority(95%) aren't witnessing a crash(and freeze) due to thermal throttling but this heavy and abnormal CPU usage in certain scenarios - To simple put, the game doesn't actually use the full CPU but only a part of it, although the fps is never reasonable, and hence the term "unoptimized", the game IS unoptimized.

CPU usage during gameplay is quite normal for me but during loading screens it always goes full power which on my monster CPU meant 100 degrees and throttling so I undervolted the CPU quite a bit and now I am capping at ca. 80 degrees.

So from my own observations it seems like the game goes a bit too hard on multithreading when loading the maps? Not sure, just wanted to share my experience.
CPU usage 45%
GPU usage 99%
GPU 61 celc.
CPU 63 celc.

A-i-O cooler
Air Flow tower
everything cool, no overheat.

Fix your hardware
this game has "only" network latency issues + stuttering issues + fps issues + rare random client-crashes
i5-14400 with max TDP 148 W (not overclocked)
Tower type cooler with max TDP 220 W

Built it myself with excessive cooling at mind

Temperature never gets above 65C (145F) in stress tests and any
In game i've got CPU at 50-55 in Dreadnaught map (A2)
But in hubs or at loading screen it goes up to 65 degrees

So game is really CPU-eating in towns (netcode issue, maybe - up to 10 players in town and dozens of enemies on Dreadnaught map) and on loading screens.
I hope it would be optimised.
I agree, this game does pull a lot of power and I frequently get notifications that my PC is over heating. Graphics are great, but wonder if there is a way to make it use a few less system resources to prevent it from overheating so much. I am playing on a laptop which is part of the issue, but if things could be adjusted for better hardware usage it would be preferable.
