-If you want map sustain, imvest currency in your maps, i minimum play yellow maps with 6 mods. blue maps are waste of maps
-If you decided play ssf you decided play hard mode in a early acces with the 10% of the game mechanics to self craft. is your own decission.

Ok fair enough, I'm willing to admit I could be doing something wrong. For everyone saying it's a skill issue, no problem, but please enlighten me on how to get better gear then instead of trying to insult me.
I pick up every relevant item including whites, I craft, I gamble, I do 100's of maps, I tried rarity on my atlas, I tried waystones on my atlas, I tried farming excavation, farming ritual, farming maps. I know about affix weighting, I use resources such as 3rd party websites.
100's of hours and my gear is complete trash.
very simple solution for you man ...
stop playing ssf
and start playing normal sofcore legue ...
learn the game to the peaks and than go ssf if u realy must
if u only just copied some build and play its gona be hard for u go ssf and do anything there ...
basics:
flat damage
damage scalling
life
energy shield
evasion
armor
resistances
KEY STONE nodes
freeze
stunn
basic gems (travel , suports , curse , mark ... )
and so on ... once u fully understand this what and how it all works than make ur first build just folow this :
get a source of flat damage
figure out how to scale it with gear and gems
get ur prefered cool skill ,build araund it...
figure out what u want life or enrgy shield , evasion or armor try to judge on ur skill and play style...
build up resistances
build up ur defense pool ... build up mybe some secondary defensive layer.
learn pob to save urself some currency...
after ur done with basics ...
go figure out what u wana do for currency grinding
than grind and buy the gear u want ...
at this point u shoud now know how poe works ... and evryting after this will be much easier to do

None of this addresses the fact that Trade is a freaking nightmare. The fact that entire game is based around it, instead of good items dropping, is horrible. Last Epoch got SSF and crafting right, GGG should take some notes.

what are u talking about ??? crafting was never this easy than it is now ...
u have so many optins and to many OP things basicly...
trade is kinda nice in my opinion dont realy have an idea how to make it better
and i think ur doing something wrong ...
try this in ssf
get any tier map with this mod
uniq enemy drop corupted items...
make ur map max exiles and max rituals as posible and scale it up as much as u can to run it... dont scale to much the exiles will kill u ... and in rituals i find many nice items
now ull have atleast 8-20 uniq exile + other uniqs in map whic will drop u many rares :D ... also corupted... and run 10 maps and come back here and ull have a difrent opinion about it ...

There aren't coming crafting options to PoE2, guarantee you that. You never played ruthless? It is the exact same game mode in PoE2.

Bro, I appreciate the effort in trying to help me but you obviously didn't read my post. I have over 3k hours in poe2 and like almost 400 in poe2...
I know about basic crap already and it's not 'my first build'. The only reason I asked for advice was directly from people claiming it's a skill issue on my part, which I'm willing to accept with a little bit of justification, or an idea oh what I'm doing wrong if that's truly what's happening.
It's a bit condescending NGL: "ohhh it's ok, if you use baby's first build guide you can maybe learn a little!"

Well one way to get better gear is to buy starter gear.
People are being a jerk to you because you didn’t ask for help you said I’m done and now we you not done I’m confused.
If you’re done then no one needs to waste time helping you get better.

There aren't coming crafting options to PoE2, guarantee you that. You never played ruthless? It is the exact same game mode in PoE2.
No actually, I quit poe1 before that happened. I will say though ruthless never sounded fun whatsoever.
