It is obvious that I was refering to the "crafting" system, namely Regal and Exalt Orbs, which you also gamble with.
The possibility of multiple interpretations when talking about "gambling for items" kinda proves my point though.

Can't farm gear because you don't have gear.
Even if you attempt Hourglass logout, you'll just get oneshot without already having good gear.
We had the beetle as a convenient farming spot, you removed it.
Gear drops shit, affix weighting is shit, crafting is shit, regal orb droprate is shit, merchant stock is more often than not shit.
In Act 1 you can farm Beira.
In Act 3 you can farm the 2 rares in Sandswept Marshes.
In Act 2 you will die in Deshar to Vile Vultures jumping on you from offscreen, because there is no decent farming spot in Act 2.
Proposed solutions:
- remove the shit stat that is Rarity
- remove the droprate gutting based on balancing for Rarity
- give us an actual crafting system
- improve affix weighting on items
- improve affix tier weighting on items based on your character's level
Idk man...streamers with a lot of views got their build enabling BIS Uniques few hours into endgame on SSF.
Insane luck,to get the only item you need,while being watched by thousands of people (possible POE2 EA buyers) ye sure...
If it was only 1 streamer ok. But every single of them,to hit perfect rolls in few EX or to get BIS Unique for their class/spec (the only item they need in order to showcase how awesome PoE2 is)

Yup pretty much, and you dont even need to find insane things either. Just modest enough which happens very frequently.
Im rolling a HCSSF warrior and already got several phys rolls on multple vendor 1h clubs and 2h. THough im sticking to 1h for the time being.
SSF should and will not get special privileges for playing the mode. That defeats the purpose of playing it. Not sure why the OP seems to want SSF to be something with a benefit.
