PoE Forums Are Broken – How to Fix Toxicity & Engagement

The Post was not for me, but I think an EXP Penalty can exist for the sole reason of people being actually careful of how they play. It changes how people approach the game. From the developers sight of view that might be a reason.
Even if they just want the exp penalty to exist its also completely fine reason. They are making the game.

Why would Early Access be a reason to change the exp penalty? Yes stuff is buggy and unfinished, but having an exp penalty does not actually change the experience of EA.

I can make assumptions too, and then people here would accuse me exactly of making assumptions, "spreading misinformation", and "false take on pretty much everything".

Point was, guy above called me out on the basis of "devs explained reasons, you refuse to take no for an answer". So I was trying to figure out exactly what explanations should I be understanding here.

If devs never stated official position on the matter (which is their right), people shouldn't act so offended about all those toxic things said about devs, as everything is left open to interpretation and boils down to one player preferences vs other player.

Which is commonly solved across gamedev market by adding more customization options, difficulty levels, or allow modding support for single player games.

I mean, depends on what you are talking about, but most things were actually addressed by the devs at least once.

Your last point is true, some games don't even need to deal with stuff like that because they have more customizable options or even can be modded to perfectly fit the player's needs, but that's just not a thing with PoE for obvious reasons.

I didnt assume anything. I just said that reasons can exist and those reasons are all legit reasons.
Oh look. The mods are out deleting posts from the people pointing out the problem again. What fun.

The issue is the mods that let this continue.

If they continue deleting posts. I may just have to make a youtube video and spam it to everyone in the PoE community.

Tired of being silenced and censored, while the people antagonizing everyone get to freely comment in threads, baiting people into circular arguments.

You might want to read the "Code of Conduct".

They don't deleted your post because they want to silence "yOuR tRuTh", you just broke the rules, that's it.

And yet, they leave thousands of other comments that do actually break the rules. Up.

If it's true - report these posts and they get removed if they break the rules, I know it's working.

The issue has never changed, because the problem makers are not removed.

The comments slide right past the Moderators, because they're not directly confrontational/antagonistic. But the intent behind them is clear. Start an argument, and win that argument, shame them, blame them.

And there's about 2 dozen regular forum goers that do it any chance they can.

Any comment that's responding to someone else saying "Git Gud" Is technically against the rules, but they don't enforce it, and there are hundreds of examples of comments similar to this, from today alone. Then you end up with forums that are unusable, because these people get to freely bully others who have differing opinions.

having an opinion you don't agree with is not against the rules. i was accused of 'personal attacks' here already yet none of my posts were removed. you know why? cuz it was a lie. prob aimed to trigger me, just like the post that got removed just now. the projections are coming it hot today

I never had an issue with differing opinions.

I just had issues with the unhealthy ways that people try to force those opinions on others.

A discussion stops being a discussion, when one side is intent on shaming, blaming, or changing the goal post any chance they can get. And I have consistently seen this from you, and others on the forums. You aren't here to discuss anything. You're not here to provide feedback. You're here to be right.

The only issue is that the moderators don't actually pay attention to this, and worry about the posts when people get mad enough to call you names instead.

Anyone paying attention can clearly see the intent behind your posting. You've been here for weeks since beta hit, constantly being a contrarian. Constantly trying to bait people into circular arguments. And there's at least 2 dozen other regulars that do this too.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is like two brothers. Sitting next to eachother. Mom said "Don't touch your brother." And one of them decides to start hovering his finger near the others face. Claiming "I'm following the rules, I'm not touching you!!"
Then he hits you, because you've been doing it for 20 minutes, and he gets in trouble over it. And then that annoying brother starts it all up over again. Never getting caught. Even though he's the one instigating things.
