Problem is that people keep using it as an excuse for the state of the game when it has been clearly stated that even the dev team didn't think that as they were about to release. Its literally a marketing term not an excuse.

Combined with the fact that they are not even treating it like an EA. They are making changes on resets the same way they do in normal leagues.

So conclusion: they have stated that the term was a marketing ploy and they have not at any point behaved in a way or treated it like a supposed EA. I have no idea where people are getting this EA idea from. Its like grasping on to straw. None of the evidence supports your EA claim apart from they now publicly use the title that was decided last minute after the game was already ready to be launched.

So you think that they didn't know that half of skills are "Coming soon", that they don't have all 12 announced classes with 3 ascendancies each, that they didn't finish campaign yet? It was all marketing team I guess, GGG thought they finished the game.

It literally doesn't exist, it is to make it feel special to sell more copies. How blind can people be. This is the real game and they will do updates and change things the same way other games without an early access title do.

It's a Kickstarter to fund the game.

Early access isn't a development term and should generally be ignored. It can range from Alpha to play 5 days early for full release. It's nonsense. I would say the current state of the game is Alpha. It says Beta on console apparently but that would make it a weak Beta.

Being Alpha or early Beta there should be considerably more sweeping changes. This is why I feel it was a Kickstarter to get PoE2 to fund itself. It did quite well too.

I said years ago trying to manage both games and compete with themselves was a pipe dream and it's turning out just as such. Whatever game makes the money, gets the funding.

Eh, just another thread with people being ignorant and venting, not that y'all wrong but cmon...we get weekly bugfix patches and hotfixes, these patches will not add new content or implement nerfs/buffs, that's for 0.2 which is currently cooking. How hard it is to understand that and the fact that you're playing an unfinished game that's in Beta? Yes you paid an entry fee but you're still playing an unoptimized beta game that's missing a lot of content. Keep your bar low please.

If you haven't already watched the interview in January, you should and also I recommend bookmarking gggtracker.com so you keep yourself updated, this should help reduce the amount of complains based on ignorance.

You can keep venting the same things people has been venting since December but until 0.2 is released it's kinda pointless to make new threads about it. Use existing threads please if all you want is venting.
