Ping spikes to 8000-10000 every 2-4 minutes, consistent for the past 12 hours

Given that Path of Exile's MAU is widely understood to be north of one million, I don't think it is in any way untenable to - on the back of evidence - suggest that three people might have networking issues unrelated to GGG's servers. I am on the other side of the planet in relation to the previous poster and my connection is stable in every other regard. There are plenty of posts on other boards/websites who are echoing these same exact problems with emphasis on this happening since the new league started. I am far from an expert and you surely know way more about this than I do, but it just does not sound sensible to me. Wouldn't me switching to a different server alleviate the problem?

I truly mean no offence - but is it possible you are responding to something I've never actually said?

Like, I've claimed three people in the thread (not including you) might have issues affecting some aspect of their internet connection. I've never said GGG's servers are devoid of issues, or that there are no problems affecting their server providers.

I'm not entirely sure what, out of the things I have said, you could realistically take umbridge with and want to dispute. Reading back over my posts, it seems like a very measured and reasonable position that I've put forth. But I'm as fallible as the next guy - so I'm always happy to hear another's thoughts.

Can confirm - another day has passed and there's absolutely no way I can play the game, every 2 seconds my ping jumps to 600 and back to 50 all the time.

This happens all the time, on every EU server. This started happening after last patch and there's never been any problems prior to that.

There's no issues in any other online game. I have a stable wired connection and there aren't any other devices using my router.

The only place where I'm having enormous latency issues is Path of Exile. This (and the fact that this started only after last patch) undoubtedly points to issues with GGG's servers.
