Yes, they did so severely.

All modifiers that include %scarab, %currency, %maps and a few others lost a decent junk of quantity, rarity and packsize. Additionally we lost 32% map modifier effect from the tree and more rarity.

Imagine if we could get party-like NPCs to help us in combat while improving our drops? It would kind of be like playing with other people but for those who don't want to coordinate a play schedule to balance other (more important) responsibilities than gaming?

Perhaps we could call these NPCs followers or mercenaries or something?

Every league has it's issues, that will never change. But I think the positives still greatly outweigh the negatives.


3.27 Negatives:

- Load screens were fkn awful, still not great
- Breach fortress is so fkn boring/long
- Scarab rebalance did not add enough new and appealing strats.
- Teasing kinetic rain just to kill it before launch was dumb

3.27 Positives:

- Purple theme is sick
- Gold buff was very welcome
- Dory tech merc is gone, thank god.
- Grafts are great
- Build diversity is good
- New ascendancies are amazing (wtf are you smokin?)
- Economy is solid going into week 3
- Tons of great QoL boost (stacked decks?! Disenchant in HO?)

If "loot" acquisition in POE has devolved into a day trading stock simulator interface then that is just further proof how far POE (both games) have drifted away from ARPG gameplay into another universe. People should actively enjoy killing and being rewarded ON THE GROUND for killing monsters in an ARPG. Why I even have to type that last sentence in 2025 I don't know, but perhaps the devs here need to hear it.

You were cherrypicking a singular example from a list of good things about the league. I show you how that's a bad point, and you type all that. I don't even see your argument in all that.

You need to stop playing trade league. Try SSF or Private Leagues. Whatever you were doing before you deleted your Keepers character, it couldn't have been fun.

I have played "a little" bit more than you, and ground loot isn't any worse than it has been last league. Gameplay-wise it's a big step up from last league. Blasting as we speak. :-)

1. Yes, I have maxed farmers and mappers running earlier than previous league, which directly equates to more currency. I don't flip on the exchange, but that's also an option.

2. The complaints about "missing" loot crack me up. Every league has its's only flavor, this one doesnt rain divines, last one did. Get over it. GGG fixed the issue with the hive walls deleting native monsters. Everything else is just perspective.
