Well it's a good thing then that POE only drops terrible equipment ON THE GROUND that can't be redeemed through any number of "crafting" methods.

It's also a good thing that virtually all endgame unique items are terrible (yes I know of mageblood and a few others) so that players don't have some reliable options.

Hey you struggled through a tough breach, betrayal, bestiary, etc. encounter. Here's your explosion of tier 7/8 modifier items.
Why yes, I do enjoy running my alch&go maps. I love how healthy the economy has been, a div is only 128 chaos or so. All my gear was cheap af, and I'm loving this league. Its the first time I've played after finishing 40/40 in a while, and the loot is so good for a casual like me who doesn't do div per hour shenanigans or buy scarabs for my maps lol

I've spent over 100 divs on my build so far. I'm making more currency than ever this league. Every time I do a breach encounter or a hive fortress there's a huuuge loot explosion, so much that I have to press Z again to loot everything cus it covers my screen. The problem is that people use mega-uber-turbo strict filters, I use Semi-Strict Neversink and the league feels rewarding af for me. I pick up any unique that disenchants for 10k+ dust, breach drops so many of those. Already sent my first mirror shard shipment, and got a 2nd one on the way. Gold is soooo much better now, I don't have to worry about farming it, just playing the game gets me enough gold. I didn't even think a buff to Breach was necessary but I'll take it I guess.


This league is amazing for casuals like me who just vibe and play the game, instead of worrying about how much currency I spent on my 1000 scarabs and 300 maps to run. I play with Fun Per Hour, not Divines Per Hour kek


And I don't even feel the map modifier effect nerf at all, like 0 difference. I can still juice normal maps to 150-200 quant and 50-60 packsize when 8-modded. Its the same as last patch, I just can't brick myself by scaling insane map mods to values higher than they should be. Same reason they limited Risk scarab to 1 and made its droprate lower, they did not want people putting random mods and making their map unrunnable.


And yeah, what OP describes as fun is abusing interactions between scarabs and other mechanics, or in last patch literally bugged scarabs like the Blight one spawning more monsters than it should. Ofc they're gonna fix those. The economy kept dying and divines were 200c each in week 1 before because everyone was bug-abusing and doing those crazy strats in 6-man parties, at least now we have a good,healthy economy for most players lol

We are WAY past that, gramps.
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.
Good wearable items coming out of a monster kill? What do you think we're playing here gramps, an ARPG?
