I think a lot of people need to remember this game is still in Beta. Sweeping balance changes are to be expected. This is not in release yet.

I'm sorry if your particular build broke or was nerfed. Play something else, or find a way to make it work again. In time, the community will find what's OP in 0.11 and popular builds will shift to that. This is how beta cycles work.

A lot of people are complaining that they're going to be exposed to more danger, won't kill as fast, etc. This is a GOOD THING. If you can faceroll the game with no effort or risk, the game has issues. Inevitably, this will turn some people off and they'll quit. Nothing that can be done about that, player attrition happens.

Just wait until 0.11 drops, play it, then offer feedback. All this mindless complaining about something you haven't even experienced yet is disheartening. I know that sentiment will fall on deaf ears to 90% of the playerbase, but the remaining 10% will understand.

bullshit, game is already out, the term of "open beta" just a common use for newly released games, nothing will change when the game goes final release, actually they could even go right now.

Yea, nothing is gonna change.....at all.....like this patch is totally not rebalancing the whole fucking game. Cuz you know, that's like totally not considered something that is a "change"......welcome to a TRUE BETA, where the game is being developed around YOU THE PLAYER as you PLAY IT.
I used to play Diablo 3, then I realized it doesn't have a Shabby Jerkin.

Great changes. I like the balancing of passives and skills.

Inner Force and Elemental Adaptation are way too powerful to not pick them up at their current state. Freezing Pulse and Ethereal Knives dish out ridiculous damage compare to other skills. I'm sure they're still going to be very good after a nerf.

People don't go all the way across the tree just to pick up elemental adaptation and inner force. They pick them up because they're on the way to the next available life/ES nodes or keystones.

Do you have a link for that?

Can anyone else back this up? I feel this is rather important as those decisions stands permanent at the moment, and if they keep changing the rewards, most players who are past cruel and merciless act 2 suffer because we picked what we thought was the best decision at that time. I feel it's unfair that I'm left with 1 passive node, while a new player will get 8% increased attack speed which is huge for example an LA build. And yes, I know it's beta, and everything can change at any moment, but I also think that they can be fair and make it so that we can revisit the quests and change our decision on the rewards, based on updated rewards.

Thanks!
Can you ggg pls update the passive tree on website? i would really like to plan my new build right now, and not having to wait until patch realese.
Accuracy rating is a rather boring stat, resolute technique same.Damage on gear , all these melee gadgets to raise melee dps seems just tricks and not give any real power.
Basically i see a problem with crafting and fixing a melee char without trading is impossible because of this.
Finding something is very hard, i know after 4 months of mostly self found.
I would like to play my melee characters, but i don't like to spend point to hit stuff, or to increase the area of my aoe to further reduce it with concentrated very much.

P.s. I dont' like races either, i love rerolling but with my stash and feeling a progress always.
Same for leagues, maybe a taste , but not my bread.

I'm quite worried that the melee buffs are too high for the early game. In our testing over the last few days it has trivialised a lot of the challenge. We'll be reviewing it further tomorrow.

Melee builds in normal and early cruel are a cake walk. It's not until merciless that melees got destroyed by monster damage, have a hard time finding a good weapons or have accuracy issues.

Sooooooooooooo.....

Lowered the overall amount of HP/ES available and reduced monster damage. What about reflect? I see that you lowered it from 20% to 18% but is that really enough to make up for how much less HP we will have?

Also FP being nerfed... I've played so many builds and FP really isn't OP at all. Especially considering that it needs some pretty amazing gear to be at it's full potential. EK I understand due to the changes to the belt. Spark I really don't understand. I mean I'm excited for this patch but I really think that the nerf to FP's dmg + the nerf to static blows is a wee bit of overkill to that particular build.

I don't know I was really excited for this patch hearing about the phys increases but I really don't believe that those spells needed a nerf.
Well, damn a lot of nerfing. How is eldritch battery going to be worth it now that ES and Aura's have been nerfed across the board?...Will be interesting making new builds. 3 of my 70 characters rely on EB and inner force. I just don't see them working anymore as they weren't OP to begin with. Suppose I will have to reserve judgment until I fight the new rebalanced monsters with all the nerfs.

At least we have a respec we can use after we wait a month to let every other chump use his and tell us what is terrible now.
I swear to god hardly anyone seems to see the bigger picture and reasoning behind most of these patch notes. -.-

Though I do feel they butchered inner force a bit, it's almost a 50% nerf, it did need nerfing but may have gone a tad too far.
So with elemental adaptation nerfed you killed righteous fire marouder build which i enjoyed so much? ;/
