Need ideas for a Unique Flask!
Hello all,
I was thinking of making an end-game unique flask that everyone in the game could use. I'd like to collaborate/brainstorm with you guys and see what we can come up with =) ALL IDEAS ARE WELCOME! After I get the stats, I can start on the name and lore! Please answer these questions when posting:

-25% instant life & mana recovery
-Removes all adverse conditions during flask duration (curses and status ailments) -This flask has a cooldown of 45 seconds -Cannot regenerate flask charges. Has a 1% chance to refill flask on hit -Shock for 2 seconds on hit for the flask duration -You are invisible for 1 second. Tell me what you think:

Flask 1:
-Restores 25% life, energy shield, and mana instantly -Removes all curses and status ailments -All skills and spells cost 100% more Flask 2: QUICKSILVER Uses 30 out of 60 charges -You are invisible for 2 second -You deal 50% more damage for 2 second -Monsters do not reflect damage towards you for 2 second -You Can only use one unique flask -All other flasks are disabled -You lose all other flask charges *I am not sure if GGG will allow invisibility, but it's a nice idea. With invisibility, monsters can't see you, but you will still receive damage if they hit you. Flask 3: GRANITE -Enduring Cry -All enemies attack you *A few people mentioned this flask to save other people from death. *PLEASE POST ALL IDEAS IN THIS THREAD, EVEN IF YOU CONTACT ME IN GAME.* Thanks all. You could make it grant immunity to all damage for a second or two but the effect is canceled if you move/attack/cast...?

For a flask to justify being unique ot would have to do alot, and also to avoid being mandatory it would have to have a huge drawback. My idea for a unique flask would be something like this:
Does all of the following: Heals and restores mana based on the amounts a hallowed(white) would Provides the resistance bonuses each of the resist flasks would provides the armour boost a granite would provides the runspeed a quicksilver would consumes all charges on use diables all flask slots for 2 minutes disables portal scroll and portal gem for 2 minutes |

-Grants you XXXX additionnal energy shield on use for X seconds
-At the end of the duration , Your remaining energy shield is halved -Takes XX% reduced damage from all sources for X seconds -Deals XX% reduced damage of all sources for X seconds -Rarity/Quantity increased by XX% for X seconds - -10% maximum player resistances for X seconds -Taunts all nearby monsters on use -Grants XX life on hit for X seconds -Grants XX mana on hit for X seconds -Removes all regenaration effects for X seconds Will post again if I have other ideas hehe IGN : @Supernico

another flask idea would be a lucky/unlucky flask for IIQ/IIR
50% chance of lucky/unlucky if lucky: +100 IIQ/IIR for 2 seconds if unlucky: -100 IIQ/IIR for 2 seconds |

What about an offensive flask? I know the old Diamond Flasks were popular, so how about something that adds a ton of damage, followed by being cursed with some nasty curses when the flask wears off?
Something along the lines of this (I'm not good with damage values so these might be way off) Duration: 5 seconds Adds 25% critical strike chance Adds 100-200 cold damage Adds 40-500 lightning damage Adds 120-240 fire damage User is cursed with enfeeblement, vulnerability, and elemental weakness when flask effect expires. Alternatively, user is cursed with vulnerability and elemental weakness during flask effect (but not enfeeblement in this case). You could make it a single use to further add a drawback if needed (I don't know how much of a drawback you have to have or would want to have - maybe one curse and making it single use would be sufficient). Flask of Sacrifice
Charges 250 of 250. Uses 250 charges on use. - All party members within [radius (increased with quality)] have their life replenished to maximum - All party members within [radius (increased with quality)] have their mana replenished to maximum - All party members within [radius (increased with quality)] have their energy shield replenished to maximum - Using the flask reduces your mana, energy shield and life to 1. Immune to Reflect Damage during Flask effect.
This is something that is absolutely needed for any high burst damage build. For Discharge specifically, this would finally make it a viable skill for HC(but other skills would benefit as well). Given the power of such a flask, it should probably require a high number of flask charges to use, and consume them all in a single use. It may also require some sort of drawback to balance it, although giving up a HP/Quicksilver/Granite is a pretty big drawback in and of itself. |
