Beginner players need free identifies
" Yea, that's what i meant, pro. :P If at that level, scrolls of wisdom are scarce and disrupts the fun, i guess that at that level something should be done about scrolls of wisdom. My first comment was directed to the OP and the thread title: "Beginner players need free identifies", and i'm still completly against that. Personally, i do not have any problems with them, because i just grind for orbs and rares i even use portals to get the most of them, but i do not identify all of them if i do not have enough scrolls, but if there is one that i think would be worth it, then i get more scrolls. Otherwise, i just trash them or sell em unidentified. It may not be the optimal playstyle to become "richier", but i do not care, because it's enough for me and i have fun with it. I forgot that fun is relative as well, maybe a gem would be a good idea, but available for higher levels, although i don't think i'd need it. "The harder the game, the better." As a new player who's only been playing the game for 10 minutes, I agree that free identifies are a must for new players, even if it's just a couple. Having played the Diablo series, I'm not new to these types of games, but some identifies would be nice. By the way, I love the game, great work!

" Every character starts with 3 Scrolls of Wisdom, so you can identify at least three items. |

Holy thread necro batman!
In addition to the above methods of getting scrolls of wisdom, you can also vendor: Armor Scraps = 2 wisdom each Blacksmiths Whetstones = 4 wisdom scrolls each. Neither is very important early game and by vendoring them I was easily able to get over a full stack of wisdom scrolls before even the end of act 1. |
