Blue Screen of Death with some sound cards

I'm happy with my computer playing different games:

* Windows Seven Ultimate x64 SP1 RUS with all update
* ASRock P67 Fatal1ty Professional
* Intel Core i7 - 2600K BOX (3400 МГц, S1155, DMI)
* GeForce GTX580 Zotac AMP PCI-E 1536Mb (ZT-50102-10P) RTL
* 4x4Gb DDR-III 1333MHz Corsair XMS3 (CMX4GX3M1A1333C9)
* Power supply 850W Chieftec APC-850C
* ATX Big Tower Thermaltake Tai-Chi VB5000SNA
* Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
* HDD 3 Tb SATA 6Gb/s Western Digital Caviar Green <WD30EZRX> 3.5" 64Mb

and latest drivers for the equipment...

and... BSOD BSOD BSOD BSOD BSOD BSOD BSOD BSOD BSOD BSOD

ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Please do support the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi!
I do not play because of the risk of data loss!

waypoint - BSOD
boss kill - BSOD
many enemy my target - BSOD

5 minutes play, BSOD, 10 minutes recovery, start... map is new! and... BSOD!

How long?!!!

Please help!

I am constantly getting the BSOD and doing --softwareaudio has not helped.

This is getting to be a real issue...
IGN: tny
probably mentioned already but:

(re-) install all .net frameworks

this will help a fair bit in many cases (not just sound) where no other solution has been found
I am getting this too. But mainly in ACT III. Now my game got corrupted and I have to download the whole 5 Gig again. It sucks big time :(
More than 5 months now and still this isn't fixed.
Was hoping to see good news when I searched this thread, guess not.

--softwareaudio prevents the BSOD's, but high action scenes cause audio problems.

I tried the --softwareaudio and --noaudio neither worked. Blue screen. i can turn my sound driver off and it works. i would really like sound though. Realtek High Definition Audio is what i use. i also have NVIDA High Definition audio in device manager there are four of them. i turn the realtek off and it works no sound at all. any advice would be awesome
Too bad. I was planning on supporting the game, I liked it at first. But a BSOD after barely one hour has cool me down. I'll wait for a patch, if there is one someday.
Plus, I don't agree with the devs explanations. I haven't seen a BSOD since I dropped windows 98 (that's 10 years, give or take). You're not gonna convince me that my hardware / driver / whatever is responsible for something only this game triggers.
Players have reported that Creative have released Beta drivers for some of their sound cards, and that these have helped fix the problem for them!
Balance & Design
I'm posting in this thread since no one has seen mine. Looking for suggestions for immediate BSOD after hitting the launch button. I do not have a creative sound card but I have tried running with --softwareaudio and --noaudio with same results. I have uninstalled my drivers and reinstalled, tried on a different user, reseated my graphics card and ram and the issue persists. It's a constant 0x00000050 error.
