1.0.1 Patch Notes
Simple solution would be just to make it % base on health like the others mentioned.
Lvl1 : 60% HP to Cast affected Gems 2: 58% 3: 56% 4: 54% 5: 52% . . . 20:22% For each 1% quality, adds a -0.3% HP needed. It gives life builds much more flexibility. Noted that a Level20 20Q of this gem need a 16%HP damage taken to cast the affected skills. Based on common Life builds with a minimum of 4k Life, It requires 640HP to cast it. For builds with 5k Life, it requires 800HP to cast. By doing the current change, you require someone to take at least a 2k HP hit to their health pool before casting the affect spells, that single hit required is too much imo. Good Nerf to CWDT GGG, at long last this game is back to what it was in closed beta, WHERE WE CASTED SKILLS i know its a revolutinary idea to certai players but you can actully cast enduring cry, molten shell, immortal call and curses yourself. Thats's how it was done in the old days when bosses and everything also did more damage.
Good changes overall espcially like the vitality change and the new resist auras and obv the map drop chances. |

I don't much care about the nerf since I wasn't using CwDT.
BUT : Some people said "if your build can't work without CwDT, it was shit anyway". What ??? In every beginner's guide I read, it was said : "don't choose a class, chose one or two skill that you like, and build synergies around those". So now it's not true anymore, a build should NOT be thought around 1~2 main skills ? Sporkers builds should work even without Spell totem ? That seems strange to me... Seriously? I think they should bring this game back to open beta because of those lot changes. esp cwdt why bringing this gem in the game on the first place if they going to nerf it so offen. people now are having difficulties adjusting their build and even the cost it make

Regarding CwDT changes....
I play solo, self-found, no trading. Are you going to give me stacks of Scouring Orbs to un-level the gems I use with CwDT? My character is level 76. All my gems have level reqs in the 65+ range. I don't have un-leveled backup gems to start over. Yes, in my play time I did find additional gems of the type I use, but these are on my level 60 character and have level reqs in the 55+ range, which is also way to high to unlevel. For lack of a better word, my characters are fucked. |

I agree QQ is allways going to be present with nerfs.......................
.......... .................. I just hoped GGG would "PRE-NERF" stuff, so we dont get used to every new thing and then see it nerfed! Just make new items/gems a little more humble and weaker to start with, and then buff them if needed. It's just a pain this way... I never missed Codt before I had it, and now it feels like loss.
