This is a little bit on a serious/joke side. But if it's by a longshot true it's just sad. Things have gone to shit when Kripp stopped playing the game to take a break. CoDT just needs to be redesigned properly. Whoever thought of making the gem based on a numeric amount of damage taken shouldn't have any right to be designing gems in the first place. It should have a % to cast like all of the other trigger gems except for cast on death. I absolutely agree that CoDT needed a nerf, but not this way. IMHO the first nerf, the 250ms cooldown was the way to go, increase that even more, maybe up to 1 sec, that way the discharge loop will not be as effective, but using it with Molten Shell, totem, Enduring Cry, etc. would still be ok. I've been playing since closed beta, I know how it is to cast your own spells, it wouldn't be the end of the world, but using CoDT is so much fun that it would be a shame to ruin it.
