This has been a constant irritation for months - the notifications often conceal item descriptions (quality percentages especially) in maps so that u either have to wait until the notice times-out or move the cursor off the item to close the notice and then go back to the item for the description (does that make sense?) - and the number of times i have done all of that to get a quick ID and then had someone else log in/out and cover the descriptions again ... you know who you are :)

Also not very happy about the CoDT gem changes! So now i either have to wait a week to Lvl it so it can b used again, or i have to spend scourings+++ to lower the levels on all my supported gems? The suggestion i saw earlier about having the dmg required to trigger it based on a flat % of life/ES across all levels is a much neater solution.

Otherwise, it's all good ;)

that's not true. Sometimes (all the time!) you want to enfeeble/curse mobs BEFORE you engage. You want to get ECharges BEFORE you engage (meaning multiple gems needed or Ecry can't be linked to CwDT) so it wasn't that simple as you are trying to present it.

Its kinda funny because as someone who's build takes a hit with this nerf (Molten Shell/Enduring Cry + CODT) I'm willing to take that hit now just because of how hilarious these tears are. So much crying over people who jumped the bandwagon for Flavor of the Month and fell off.

it tells a lot how the exalted and divine supporters think everything is ok, because they have a huge stack of items/gems and can rebuild without much work.

alas, the vast majority of players wont have a, for example, lvl 1 enduring cry so they can adjust to the nerf, and will have to buy/grind for one.

Again, its not about the nerf per se, its about releasing something that you are not so sure about and the chain reaction it causes in a game such as PoE, where your real currency is the time you invest in the game.

So some players, played solo because grouping was no longer 'quite' the faceroll it was in OB. But still a very safe faceroll.

Chris, you just said it plain and simple, you bluntly just said without a doubt, that you are encouraging group play and discouraging solo play.

The aura changes, all of them, are quite clear now.

Thing is, Chris, if there was suddenly a shift, to group play, would THAT be seen as something that needed looking into to resolve the cause?

You have "really disincentivised playing" solo since the year dot.

Chris I'd love to see some hard numbers and why you think it is such an issue for people to be soloing instead of partying.
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_-

What? Multistrike is far from broken, hell I stopped using it for other DPS increases because it was too annoying to use for what little gain it offered me.

CODT + Discharge was absolutely stupid. You could walk into a zone and kill everything without ever having to click except to walk. If you think that was fair and balanced you've absolutely lost it.

I have nothing but laughter for anyone who invested heavily in the flavor of the month. I knew this would happen post-release but wasn't expecting it so soon. Streamer runs broken as hell build, build gets nerfed, all his followers who tried to jump on the bandwagon for the flavor of the month too late whine and cry that GGG hates them.

Good riddance, game is better without people like that.

given the fact that it's much more expensive to manage your maps solo than in the group of 6 men, the fact that you can get zero maps out of 110% IIQ map makes it even worse
please, provide us with numeric explanation of changes to map drops, it's really necessary to restore some faith in you


I'm interested in how improved, improved is. Last night I ran 7 maps and after the 7th, I quit and went to playing an alt. Why? Playing the 7 maps, only 3 maps dropped.
Lol... I love how upset so many players are over the CoDT nerf. Serves you all right for not trying different builds out and collectively climbing onto a broken bandwagon. Did you guys seriously think that GGG was going to leave such a "cookie-cutter viable" gem THAT relevant? Just a bit naive aren't we?

Get over it, roll a new toon, or just quit. Most of you sound like you came straight from the BLIZZARD forums.
