that FUCKIGN cast on damage taken nerf... it was fun now looks like real shit. You will have to level it so high now to gain moore than 200 (wow wow) armor from molten shell, and moore than 1 endurance charge from 100 mobs pack (cyz enduring cry lvl 31 is soo bad). K ggg k.

This is pretty ridiculous... Why the hell did they show off the gem in the build of week #1, using it the same way we are using it now then??? HOW does that make any sense whatsoever? Please explain to me.. AM I missing something? You give us a gem, show us how to use it before it was even released, so we use it, and now you nerf it on us and tell us that we are using it wrong??? Seems like you couldn't come up with any other way to nerf people using it with discharge, so you just punish everyone.. Whats going on anymore GGG? You buff the %auras so that we have to choose defense or offense.. So if we pick defense we do NO damage at all since the monster hp in a party is SOOO high, and if we pick offense, CoDT is our ONLY source of reputable defense.. Man oh man, what gives anymore???

Additionally why is everybody crying they will be dead? Do you not have any life leach? The gem doesn't proc when you have lost 2k hp, it procs when you have taken 2k damage... even if you have healed it off, in map runs I probably take between 100k and 1000k... I have been leveling my codt gem since I got it and have absolutely no issues with its proc rate whatsoever, infact I haven't even noticed a drop in its proc rate. (its now level 16)

Tl;dr all the codt babies need to quit bitching, gem is fine, will still use.

Mortal Conviction -> 40% Less mana reserved. ( this implicate to take Blood Magic )

This mean for an aura who required 40% mana, linked to reduced mana, the aura won't reserve any life ?

You don't get it? I have level 1 CwDT (req 31 lvl) and few gems with level 17-18 (req 62-63). To use CwDT as support I'll need to take it to 18 level! And some time age I've just downgraded it from lvl 10 to lvl 1 with scours!

You could level CWDT slightly and run lower level defensive gems!

The much higher monster life in 1.0.0 for groups has really disincentivised playing in them. There was a major shift towards solo play. That's why we reduced the new group monster health bonus slightly in this patch.


And when Chris says "major", I mean MAJOR... Group play is SOOO bad right now, that im pretty sure a few friends of mine are not to happy with me since I have just been playing solo lately. I LOVED playing in groups, solo is lonely and boring, but with the way monster hP was buffed, it just didnt make any sense to waste SO much time trying to clear a 66 map with a full party when I can speed through a 72 map solo in less than half the time. THANK GOD they decided to do this, I just hope its enough.

On another note, RIP CoDT. Thanks, GGG. You show us how to use a gem in the BoTW, and then nerf it to the ground. You watch and see how many people use this gem now. Thanks! For many people, this gem was the best thing that happened to this game in a LONG time...and not for the dmg part, but for the way you can be much more tanky and not have to cast molten shell, enduring cry and a curse. RIIIIIIPPP
