so my low level one should be rank 1? or is 3 ok?

" 3 should be fine if you already leveled it up. But I'd prefer Lvl 1. The higher version: I keep it usually at ~half my lifepool. I'm just starting Act 3 Normal Ambush using the original build tree updated for 1.1.0, March 6. Vaal was easy--no resurrection required. Just prior to Vaal a nice BM gem was dropped which I promptly added to GS. Took a direct hit from him that in other games was instant death and here it only dropped Life ~50%--enough time to recover. In battle with Vaal Life only takes a little dip while HS can still feeds off full Mana--I kind of like that. Would this be good reason to just skip the BM node?
I'm still, at lvl 32, ~5 nodes away from RT. [In a way PoE is like Chess. A good player can see what's going on many many moves ahead--I'm a terrible chess player!] By lvl 32 does it matter if I don't have RT yet? If I get my char lvl to far ahead of the monster lvl by killing everything that moves then leveling will only become harder, but by skipping battles to bring the lvl delta closer together they will become harder. I'm currently in Act 2 Cruel and need help figuring out whether to do atk or dmg for bandits quest. Im using OP's post as a guide but not following it 100%.

" That's quite interesting, I'm currently level 89 but I read something before that made me keep the higher CwDT gem at lvl 11. My life is 5300, do you think I should level it up more? I thought if it is higher it might not proc when you need it soon enough. Ill have to test. |

In the OP section under Support Gems regarding the BM gem NinjaArabStrategist cautions that "it may be used instead of the BM keystone but brings terrible increase in mana(life) cost which is hard to maintain." Is this any different a caution then if you used the keystone? In fact isn't the keystone much worse to manage since it applies to everything--you have no mana, while the gem would only apply to the the weapon it supports while leaving the mana alone for other use?

" The BM gem increases the cost of the skill to 250%, whereas the keystone leaves it at 100%. So using gems means that the life depletion due to the use of this skill is 2.5 times faster. |

hadnt use this build for almost half a year now
how is this build ,, those life leech nerf hits pretty hard any review? i too am aware of how this build falls in late game when mapping u need either marohi or a 6link chest to make the character prime ,,sounds shitload of exalted for a beginner |
