BiS for melee would be a corrupted, mirror-quality rare, not a unique.

But rare items arent build enabler... thats what "good" unique are meant to be

You can see the nature of what a "MACE" should be by where the nodes are and what are their dedicated skills are

Mace= marauder area and the nodes give physical damage, marauder is physical no elemental damage or little.

what is the mace dedicated skill? Ground Slam, pur phys skill.

It's what makes PoE interesting, the micromanagement with an exception to every rule.

I think if a player just wants to one hand melee mobs solo mapping, the top damage needs to max at 200 or very very close to that, plus a good attack speed.

the exception to GGG rule would be to make a unique items that has a sense

instead of buffing Glacial hammer, they make this item which idiot will use as an argument against people that want a real mace
