Corrupted strong boxes

I corrupted one strongbox in a lvl35'ish area, it dropped two 6 socket items which were promptly sold for jewelers.

Got these when I corrupted a box on my first run through of the game, had to test what it did. Not all the rare items were corrupted. The quiver is awesome, can use it from level 1 with a Silverbranch! IGN: MrG.

I corrupted like 7 strong boxes and mostly got orbs, some rares and maps ...

Well, I did the same but it did Nothing. Just added corrupted in red fat. Don't know if I should hold on the my vaal orbs in case they get more valuable later on or just screwitI'lldoit on some trash gear or lockboxes..
