I'm playing Hardcore Essence and just ripped my ED char at 88 :/
Since I have some currencies (around 500c), I was wondering about a bow char that could grind mid-level maps (say T8-12 at least) and be quite tanky.

At the beggining I wanted to test a Windripper build but I don't know if it's the best in terms of dps and survivability. Also, I seem to understand that LA is great AOE-wise but lack single target dps, which makes Blast Rain quite mandatory no ? But switching to TS makes the problem go away ? Or, with a good gear, LA+BR is the way to go ?

Also, for the ascendancy, I'm hesitating between Raider and Champion ? Who do you think is the best in terms of survival ? Maybe I'm missing another ascendancy too !

You could also use The Blood Dance boots:

Actually I started to use Frenzy + GMP + FA as left mouse attack. I am not using a single target damage skill since TS is good enough for me. Using Frenzy substantially increased my comfort level to create charges. One shot once in ~15-20 seconds refreshes frenzy timer. Furthermore, whenever I lose charges or meet a boss, Frenzy as an attack fills them within seconds - which I find quite useful.

Yes, it is normal to have lightning damage over physical. Because u r using Physical To Lightning gem, which will convert 50% of ur physical to lightning damage. This is my bad for did not mention u the Reach of the council bow which will help u free out GMP, for more damage output.

About the Harbinger like I said, the most expensive or medium good price item of ur gear XD. But the bow u having now is good enough.

Having a lot ele damage means u will always inflict status aliments to ur enemy (like freeze,shock,burning). U could switch to other (Good TS links: TS-GMP-PPAD-SP-FA-Pierce (with drillneck) or the same, but replace GMP with poison with Reach).
Yes, u could run Physical reflect if u have ton of ele damage and low physical. But im not recommend to run any kind of reflect if u dont have enough life leech + Vaal Pact (leech apply instantly).

I suggest running Herald of Ice + Curse on hit + Assassin Mark instead of HoT. Because HoT cannot apply shock and it required more Int to lv up/ HoI curse ur enemy when it shattered to others, damage cannot be reflected (will have clearing large packs with AM give more crit and power charges).And one more curse setup with vulne on hit or ele/projectitle weakness to deal with bosses.

Well, the cheapest Reach bow is 3E, so I can get that later on when I'm rich :)

Is the main benefit of the bow that you no longer have to use GMP so you get a free socket, or do you use GMP with it and have a TON of arrows?

Is getting that setup as easy as putting HoI + CoH + AM in 3 linked slots? What would I put in the 4th? Currently I have 75% mana reserved for Hatred + AA, do I need to use Englighten anywhere? And how do I use it? As of right now, I don't think I can reserve another 25% ...

What do you think my next upgrade should be? And my last 13 passives? I took out one point in Essence Sap last night and didn't notice any difference, so think I'm safe no longer using it. I.e., I was thinking of going to Cloth and Chain to the right of Golem's Blood. For two points I get 36% evasion and armor (which I never use..) and 15% all resist.

Any update on the Pathfinder tree? I'm at 90 and have decent enough gear to solo clear T15 map (bit of a struggle on boss but cleared anyway) and I'm not sure where to go with Ascendancy.

On the Blast Rain section of the guide, you have "CONC" listed as a green support gem. What is CONC? If it's concentrated effect, you got the color wrong, concentrated effect is blue!

Fairly certain conc means concentrated effect yes.

I have a question regarding Deadeye TS and BR: Which 4th ascendancy do you recommend? Endless Munitions or Rupture I'm guessing?

My accuracy is a bit low currently, at 2500, but I'm getting a 90% hit chance which doesn't seem bad, that is, with Endless Munitions as my 4th. Losing the 200 flat accuracy would probably hurt me a lot.

If I fixed my accuracy, would Rupture be better? Is rupture potentially better even with my low accuracy? It's just that, the extra projectile doesn't seem too amazing...

It'd be great if you could extend the guide with some 4th ascendancy choices, too!
