" See, the build might say take hatred and use herald of ice or thunder but during that bracket of leveling I just ran hatred. You're doing so much damage as is already so just chug mana pots. Seriously, tabula rasa's are cheap get one, death's harp or whatever with your gleam if damage is a problem. Honestly guys, stop using the guide as it is right now as something to follow 100%. Look at neversink's profile and go to his harbinger character. The guy has completely ditched the preliminary nodes to get to the outer circle(and it makes complete sense) in favour of more defensive's and point value because those early nodes just plain suck. I get why neversink is taking the claw nodes because it adds major leech but i'm leery about it and will probably be going another way. I realise the guy is farther ahead and is hitting roadblocks hence the redistribution of his points into resists and life but I am thinking of going another route to get the same things while gaining dps. " Excuse me the stupid question but till level 28 and get Tornado Shot I should use Burning Arrow (ST) / Sharpnel (AOE) THEN LA + LMP (AOE and ST?) up till 28 and THEN start using Tornado Shot + LMP + anything else? (AOE/ST) and Blastrain (ST)? Last edited by Iamandre#3224 on Aug 13, 2017, 12:06:19 AM

Playing the Scion TS version and it is not going well. lvl 76 and not doing well on T5 maps. mobs are no problem but bosses, even rogues are burning me down quick. seems like i just keep ending up running for my life all the time... kind of looking like it is coming to an end...
at least for the scion version... ranger may be doing better... Life: 3468 DPS: 15.6k Crit: 38.6% got decent gear that should at least get me to T10 maps but i just dont see it happening...

![]() ![]() as a reference i have played this build a couple years ago (page 227) https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1041989/page/227#p10606238 and was able to run it up to lvl 91 and do Atziri runs... Last edited by Tallion99#0440 on Aug 13, 2017, 12:07:19 AM

" The gear is fine tbh, except the quiver (unique >>> rare, unless its a 6-mod with +1 arrow or legacy mod). You could spec out of the mana-leech-cluster, it's unneccessary at this stage. Other than that, it's 3.0 and bosses aren't going to fall over at this low lvl. I don't think it has something to do with the build or the ascendacy. I've just leveled a similar character (pathfinder) from 68-73 in T5-T6 maps with overall worse gear (had a +1 drillneck but also things like goldrim or lochtonial caress + jewellery with 0 crit) and it was fine. Single-target was not great but not that bad either. Now it's time to equip some good gearpieces and buy jewellery with some crit. |

Any information in what nodes to pick after what the guide covers?
It seems to be up to level 85 or so , unless im misunderstanding the tree. |

So i have read that this build is somewhat outdated.. Could someone please post me a skill tree link that i should be going?
First character so want to make sure i get it right first time around, my knowledge is very lacking as i am still learning. Thank you! I was following the leveling tree guide and am hoping i haven't screwed up yet. This is what i have so far. https://gyazo.com/32c9e43cc6d179b2ae392e713e542dfe Last edited by lhuggins1989#2703 on Aug 13, 2017, 7:30:06 AM

" Honestly there's not much to it. You look at any other build that also uses elemental conversion you'll see the majority take the same route heading for primeval force and you'll see they grab the major life nodes, jewel nodes and respective damage boosts to your desired build and also taking the elementalist ascendant skill and ranger start path node. However... I know the guide is supposed to tell you where to put your points but really look at what the nodes are giving you. I skipped the jewel nodes until I actually had jewels worth socketing. I skipped entire node clusters because I needed mana leech at one point and just bee lined towards the mana leech node along the guides path. Now at this point I feel like I don't even need it anymore. I'm thinking of doing the exact same thing when I get my next ascendancy points, getting ranger start node, connect to the main tree, refund all the small value return early points from the early dex nodes and allocating them to nodes farther out that have much higher return. This is how most scion builds look it seems like and it makes sense. Go for what you need as you need them and what you can get away with. Last edited by dinktinkle#3804 on Aug 13, 2017, 8:28:46 AM
