Sweep

Well... now I feel dumb. Thank you lol
It would be nice if sweep worked off base weapon attack speed, but with a "20% less attack speed" modifier or something like that. This way I would not feel screwed because I found a hot fast-base maul or a hot slow maul that didn't roll +atk speed mod...

Same for leap slam.

Also, if it's to remain this way, please indicate the base attack speed in the gem description, same as spell gems indicate cast time. Thanks!

Sweep needs to be useable while moving, while still recieving the -35% damage debuff, move is just boring as is, add a fun factor please and some mobility.
Does Sweep or Cleave get an increase in the range/radius with the support gem like Increased Area of Effect, or nodes in the passive tree that give +% to radius (Area of Effect Radius %)?
Sweep's Tooltip does not reflect that it can be used with a staff.

Check the tags. It lists 'AoE', so it benefits :)

The game engine literally cannot have skills be able to be used while moving.
I find that sweep seems to lose usefulness as you progress. In normal it's a great skill for dealing with surrounded situations, but as you progress through cruel it becomes just useless.

With both missing everything at times even with RT and feeble scaling of damage output at higher levels I find that it has less and less use until I find I'm only using it to smash groups of pots as it cannot cope with anything else.

Please find some way of increasing the damage, or speed or something at higher levels so this can continue to be a useable skill beyond just normal difficulty.

Also allow it to use the weapon speed instead of a set speed regardless of weapon.

Just to echo some others question, why cannot a 2 handed sword be used with this skill, if you can swing a maul then what is the restriction for a 2H sword?

Edit... It just seems wrong to have a skill that seems to have no use beyond early/mid 2nd difficulty.
