While this is good to see.

Why, oh WHY did we not have ground effects and fracture REMOVED months ago.

Certain shit is broken, we will leave it for months, let it get worse, then we'll reduce the frequency that one of the broken things occurs.

I very rarely drop from this game and had numerous drops tonight, guildies I was playing with dropped often as well. Not even in maps just clicking around my stash in my hideout. Maybe unrelated or maybe cali server was just having a bad night.

Now seriously. Cant we just remove ground effects? 3 of 4 are more or less pointless anyway.

Burning ground? Harmless
Desecrated ground? Overall harmless.
Chilled ground? Annoying but harmless.
Shocking ground? The only effect that can really screw you over.

But! The performance drop for something that redundant and tedious is just unreasonable.
