I also notice that lag spikes appear more often than they used to. I guess it relates to the continuos loading rather than preloading huge chunks of data. Would be nice if you took this into consideration too.

I forget where I saw it, but someone was talking about making preloading/asynchronous loading optional. If the laggy stuttering performance I've seen so far is typical of what I can expect from preloading/asynchronous loading, I'd just as soon go back to the old way, thanks. It may have taken forever to load, but at least things were reasonably smooth once you got there. Heck, I'd even welcome the ridiculous lag spikes that come with walking microtransaction billboards Rogue Exiles in strongboxes.
