NOTES:

* Vaal Summon Skeleton section added under the gem section.
* Dyadus approach for TV spectres on the Animate Guardian has been removed due to the Dyadus nerf in 3.3

So whats the downside of runing "Vaal Skeletons" bcs the vaal gem contains "summons skeletons" skill too with 3.3.0.

Some support gems dont work with the Vaal Gem?

The only downside to Vaal Summon Skeletons is that you won't have a 21/20 Summon Skeletons gem socketed. I don't see any other downside to using a 20/20 Vaal Summon Skeletons vs the regular skill gem. AFAIK supports that don't work with the Vaal skill still work with the regular version of the skill.

The only other possible downside I could see is that some people may not know that you cannot add quality to a Vaal gem... so you have to at least quality the gem before you Vaal it if you want a 20/20 Vaal Summon Skeletons.

Afaik you can have 21/20 vaal skele gem with the double vaal orb corruption from temple. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Is it neccesary to use spectres in this build? Are there some alternatives to this, maybe stronger zombies with Flesh Binder ascendancy node?

Nah, spectres + skellies is the strongest summoner combination you'll find in todays patch imo.

You are correct :) though prior to that lucky corruption the priority should be in just getting VSS to get the build going, obviously!

All support gems works with the skill. You might be referring to Spell Echo which doesn't let you double cast the vaal version but that's fine. Generally this build is mostly effective using Melee Skellies with Solar Guard spectres and both versions work very well with VSS, however, keep in mind that using the vaal gem over a 21/20 for example normal one is more than fine. The build is stupidly good either way ^^

Just curious on what you think about the new 90+% increased minion dmg sceptre replacing brightbeak? is it worth getting although the highest roll is like 30% i think. Thanks for your input and for the advice, managed to progress quite smoothly albeit slow since i'm not that efficient.

Is 'From Dust' Really necessary? Seems like you give up a whole jewel slot just to cast skeletons 1 less time every 30-35 seconds, and the cast time on skeletons is pretty small.

Let me say, it's my first necro build, so I can miss the point.

But I don't see the point in MoS in this build, 20% increased duration isn't much, we have desecrate to recast at will, and the part were it affect us... seems pretry pointless on flesh offering, at least wen summoning mage skeletons, no need for more faster cast; and for movement i shied charge my way.

So i will go for CoD, damange for minion an resist for me too. But MoP seems pretty good for damange, as we recast skeletons often, and the movement speed is always good.

For Auras, i understant the anger/hatred+ generosity, and clarity lvl 1. But whit so mana left i was thinking in MoM for more ehp, but you dont take it. And whit the new vaal gems, and using Vaal Haste, isn't it worht to take some aura nodes and use haste too?

But as i said, i'm new to necro, the first time i played poe, i intended to approch de D2 Necro.. it was a complet disaster, i don't even know how de gems sistem work.
After i tried your ED/Cont build, i know this will work. So far so good. I hope Skeleton Mages works fine end game as i see everybody with melee.

PD: I leveled whit Advocates as Specters, someone tried them on end game? i didnt see any post about them.
