But you'll need to use GMP instead of some another gem and this will decrease your DPS

Just imagine: you would need to remove some gem - this is DPS loss by itself
Also, GMP has 26% LESS projectile damage mod on it.
To compensate you need to find a really high DPS bow...

Hey, should i be fine with this set up? (haven't colored the sockets aside from the gloves/bow/body yet)



note: place holder gems atm. Still need ~15% lightning res from jewels. amulet needs chaos damage crafted onto it. Rings need blessed orbs until both 29% or 30%

If you had a 400pDPS Harbinger you'd probably lose 10% DPS overall. Assuming you had good crit on the bow. Reach isn't as OP as it used to be. It's just really really good for the price now. Death's Opus is also only slightly different than Reach as well.

I'd highly recommend Opus over a rare though. Infinitely cheaper and similar DPS. You'd still probably use LMP or GMP, but it would only be for quality of life (more screen clear). The real benefit is your Barrage/Frenzy/whatever you're using also gets more arrows. With a rare only your main skill will get all the arrows.

Finally got seebybow transitioned fully. Yep mana problems gone no more clarity. Yay!

This. A mirrored ~580 dps bow is going for ~150ex in STD. Having to run GMP to substitute what Reach brings to the table means you're turning that 580 dps bow into a 430 dps bow. Current Reach reaches 320 dps I believe, while legacy goes up to ~370. Getting GMP built in means the bow has an effective dps of ~460. So it edges out any mirrored bow and sells for about ~20ex.

Reach is head and shoulders above any other bow rn. If you want to upgrade anything, get a legacy Reach. I got a pretty GG 6L for 23ex. Sold my old 6L for 16ex, so the upgrade was pretty cheap all things considered. Still the best bang for your buck tho. Honestly even mirrored bows are dead. The game has pretty much left them behind after the whole crafting fiasco.

Took your advice (thanks) on one ring but am looking to possibly replace other and definitely the ammy since I'm w/out mana problems now.

What about a nice deadhand talis?

do you guys reckon I could try guardians/shaper with this gear or is there something that needs upgrading? (I also have +2 barrage proj Devoto's)
