Yeah it's pretty close. I was thinkering a bit with path of building and for my actual gear the added lighting results in more damage. Using faster attacks feels more smoother though.

One main thing about added lightning is the way easier coloring.In the end it may come down to preference.

That's my build for lvl 95.

But with that said, this is a somewhat flexible build, you can easily switch between Damage and +ES.

This is the Unwavering Stance version.

Also, you might want to grab charisma on early levels, Im using Gloves with +1 to gems and Enlighten, but without that, its pretty hard on mana.



On a side note

Has Anyone tryed using a high level Elighten + Charisma with Discipline Wrath and Herald of Thunder.

From my calculations, using a lvl 4 enlighten and +1 gloves, plus charisma, would consume around 85% mana, which i think its fine.

The damage of Herald of Thunder, plus the +15% lightnin damage, in this build would be pretty insane.

nice tree; similar to one of mine I am working on but not in practice; got a crit version :)

you've very little crit on the tree and using elemental overload.. worth it? and point blank with a ranged skill as such.. i understand that for bosses this could be helpful but you could just swap to a slower projectiles gem to curb that problem instead of spending points.. what is your reasoning here? i cant decide if I should take a route like yours like i initially made or go for a super crit version.. tough choice here

threw tree together at 1 am and reworked char.. i see some slight issues in duelist section where i can move the mana leech to the node that is life/mana leech etc. but with my quick slap of gear in a 5L, I was getting only 40K LMP and only have 8K es...47 crit and like 350 multi.. i might get rid of all the crit multi things which is about 8-10 points and reach out to the overload; plus more int along the way

Ok, so first, let me say that damage is Definitly not a problem in this build.

Theoretically, the best version of this build is a Skyforth Crit version, but thats a lot of money invested in a build that can do the same thing with 1/10 of the currency.
The non Crit version you can get so much more ES and Utility than the crit version, and the damage is not that different.
Actually if i made a crit version, i would consider going Pathfinder for the flask uptime.


Elemental Overload is not a problem, even if you have low crit chance, you attack so fast and so much shit at the same time, that is up 100% of the time.

Point Blank is definitly a must when you get enought damage. Because on maps you want to be able to whirling blades inside a pack, and kill them with 1-2 hits, you don't want to wait for the st to come back. Also, when your ST coming back, is not guaranteed to hit.



"PS: I tested using Charisma, Plus lvl 4/5 Empower with Wrath, Discipline and Herald Of Thunder, and its definitly not Worth it, the damage increase is not that great (Around 4k DPS), its not worth the low mana (even if its doable), its better to spend 3 points to get another jewel.

I noticed in the last Skill tree tab you refunded the area on which you placed the Brute Force Solution jewel. Was that on purpose or is there another area that you put it in? New to the game and second char rolled, i have all "needed" gear, i just dont understand the refund of jewel slot for Brute Force

Died at lvl 90 recently in LHC, awesome fun biuld, wanna continue this one but will be in standard, got a couple of hundreds exalt to spend so will try to MIN/MAX it as much as possible.

I have been using Valyrium ring, I guess the dps will be higher if I change that for a Opal ring and respec the tree to get Unwavering Stance + Brute Force ?

Other then that I will get my hands on 950 Regalia, Shaper Gloves (+1)(4 Blue) and 1x Culling Strike-HOWA

Tried this, but have to say (sadly) it's not worth the 3 points at all.
Even with lvl4 Enlightment and the 3 passives up to Charisma I had serious issues maintaining my mana, and I also have leech on my boots.
The dmg boost was around 2.5kdps which yeah, is nice, but not worth 3 passives that you could invest on Alchemist or on the path to Trickery that for just 1 more point gives 52%ED (which at least for me is 250 less dps), 20%CritChance and an always nice 10Int.

Or grab a socket and use a nice %atkspd jewel, it gives us a HUGE dps boost.
