How is ssf going for u guys/girls? ^^

Got another Lich in a T6. Looks like I have (with Lich killer Hierophant) far more DPS than I need to beat the timer as long as those *$%@# totems actually aim at the spire. So in retrospect this isnt exactly the best build for it. Thinking of using some other skill which doesnt suffer from totem aiming problems. Defensively it was very easy. Nothing hurt much. Did not step on much of the ground stuff though.

Pathfinder is now using 1H (mostly chaos/poison) Molten Strike. Much stronger than 'Spark' with Pledge of Hands before - more damage and better tankiness. But has issues. Especially the gfx spam.

Dropped a Shapered 'Stygian Vise' - probably not going to use/craft it though:

Started a ssf hardcore character. Haven't played hardcore in a very long time. I wonder how I will do against some of these new bosses (gulp).

With SSF, is it possible to buy stuff from merchants in the game?

I played SSF-only from the start of Legacy, but I must admit I gave up on it. Not because of missing items or frustratingly low (red) map drops - I can live with that - but I just could not find that last trial for the uber lab.

I had 5 out of 6 trials within the first week of Abyss, then 4 weeks of NOTHINGNESS! Hiding standard content behind the rng wall was the reason for me to chicken out of SSF and go normal Abyss. I mean being lvl 89 with 6/8 ascendency points is just not funny. In normal Abyss league I joined some chat channel and got my last trial within a minute. Now I'm a happy "normal" player.

Well... posting that experience in this thread should get you a probation at least. This thread is about SSF and our experiences in it. It's not here for quitters to come in and say how easy it is to cheat like a "normal" person.
