Constant disconnects when loading zones

i know its hard to read when you copy paste but this is the error it keeps giving me, yet my memory on my computer is just fine

Re-install was actually what fixed it for me. I was 100% sure it couldn't be client side as the launcher would even hang trying to log-in, I was wrong.

alright here is what i found out for everyone that reads

i went to my start menu (on desktop)

i searched for path of exile

i found the installer

i opened it and clicked repair

after the brief repair im able to zone almost everywhere with no problem so far

i recommend giving the repair a try before you uninstall reinstall

this solution only works for a brief time, im going to uninstall and reinstall through steam

I THINK I´VE FOUND A SOLUTION(AT LEAST FOR STEAM USERS)
-I HAD A PROBLEM WHEN LOADING SOME AREAS AND ENTERING THE ACTS (I USED TO GET DISCONNECTED MOST OF THE TIMES)

I WILL TELL YOU MY EXPERIENCE(that i think was a happy accident) MENTIONING EACH THING I DID BY CURIOSITY BORED OF NOT BEING ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME NORMALLY : THIS NOT A RELIABLE SOLUTION.

WITHIN STEAM
LIBRARY--->RIGHT CLICK ON PATH OF EXILE--->PROPERTIES--->LOCAL FILES(SOMETHING LIKE THAT I HAVE IT IN SPANISH)--->BROWSE LOCAL DATA---> I WINDOW WILL OPEN---> YOU´LL FIND 2 APLICATIONS WITH POE ICON ( PathOfExile_X64Steam and PathOfExileSteam) IF YOU FIND MORE JUST CHECK THE ONES THAT HAVE "STEAM" IN THE ICON

Now I right clicked PathOfExile_X64Steam and clicked on porperties--->compatibility--->check the square RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. I DID THE SAME FOR THE ICON PathOfExileSteam

NOW I ENTER PathOfExile_X64Steam AND A SIMPLE ERROR MESSAGE APPEARED SO THEN I TRIED ENTERING PathOfExilESteam AND SOMETHING HAPPENED A WINDOW APPEARED AND STARTED DOWLOADING OR INSTALLING(DONT REMENBER VERY WELL CAUSE THAT WAS FAST BUT THERE WAS A BAR BELOW LOADING) AND I SAW THE PATCH NUMBER(3.0.1b) WITH THE PATCH NOTES APPARENTLY IN RED LETTERS, THATS WAS STRANGE CAUSE I´VE ALREADY HAD THE PATCH INSTALLED (WHENEVER I ENTERED MY GAME I USED TO SEE 3.0.1b so i was confused

FINALLY AFTER THAT I TRIED TO ENTER THE GAME FIRST DOUBLE CLICKING PathOfExile_X64Steam AND THE GAME RUN PROPERLY, I HAD NO ISSUES ENTERING THE ACTS, SO I TRIED THAT MANY TIMES(ENTERING AND EXITING THE GAMES) AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS ANYMORE, I ALSO TRIED ENTERING THE OTHER ICON PathOfExileSteam AND WORKED WELL TOO BUT WHEN I TRIED ENTERING THE POE ACCESS THAT IS IN THE DESK BY DEFAULT IT HAD THE USUAL PROBLEMS SO I DECIDED TO CREATE A DIRECT ACCESS OF THE PathOfExile_X64Steam and since then i have no more problems playing from that access .

NOTE: i have : -noasync --->(leaving one space before writing) in my SET LAUNCH OPTIONS, i read that was the cause of some problems before, i tried removing that but nothing happened so i decided to leave it.

Judging from no post for a while everyone's problem have been solved.

Good for you! I'm so happy you can play to your heart's content.

For me the game is totally unplayable. Before this lovely expansion the game ran not perfectly but well enough that you could play it.

Now I sign in after at least two tries. Sometimes it take 3 tries or more. That's old hat. Then there is the lag. I've learned to lag fight so that is not the horrid problem it once was. When it starts I slam down Ancestral Protector and start blasting lacerate before the lag totally stops me. Sometimes that works if I do it fast enough.

The hardest thing is moving from an area that has NO WAYPOINT to an area that does because 4 out of 10 times that's an instant disconnect for me.

You have to start over and hope your luck is good enough to get you into the area with the waypoint next time.

Today at 1230 pm lag set in hard. Colors went to hell. Lacerate just put out black waves and makes no sound. Groups of monsters just appear like black clouds. Finally lag closes down tight when no monsters appear next to me, screen totally freezes then drops back to login.

Go to login and bing I've been killed again. I quit.

So I'm very happy all of you no longer have any problems.

after uninstall and reinstall through steam i still have the same issue

We are already Aug. 28th and since 3.0.0 I couldn't even complete 1 zone (when I finally could login after 10 or 15 trials).

One thing is sure, nothing to do with my ISP, machine, settings or dunno what.

A game with that many players should run properly without anyone has to modify the registry or the game files.

I have to say it's the first time over 20 years playing online games that I see soemthing like this. Sometimes 1 or 2 updates are necessary to fix the problem but I found soooo many posts regarding this same stuff since 2013 and absolutely no consequent reply from GGG.

If I didn't love this game, I'd have gone for another a bunch of time ago but that's the problem...I love this game and I'd want to play again.

I'll try to contact them and once I have some news (if any) I'll share here.
