Hello, I decided to give your build a shot since Sunder wasn't getting me past t14s unfortunately and it seems all RT builds lack the damage necessary to do endgame content. Well I hit 71 last night, I have a comparable weapon to yours and just some basic gears and a 5l, I got my dps up to around 80-100kish with buffs and started messing around in PoB to see where I could get with doryani's and rat's nest/starkonja's but I couldn't get anywhere near your output. So I started fiddling with your PoB and it looks like you get roughly 500k damage from jewels alone in PoB. So I checked prices for comparable jewels and lesser equivalents and they're expensive as hell. I'm wondering if you were able to kill shaper before you got these jewels or what you used before aquiring the ones you have as I'm unable to afford them at this point.
I know you said you kill shaper two days into league and I imagine finding jewels like that isn't easy two days into the league, so what should I be looking for as temporary jewels until I can afford similar ones. Also should I complete the tree before worrying about jewel slots or should I detour while leveling for some of the jewel slots? So far the build is fun and there has been nothing more satisfying to me then hitting a crit + herald of ice and just listening to the crunch. Anyways, any help is appreciated as I really want to down endgame content and this is like my 8th char and I haven't progressed past t14s at this point and it's really frustrating.
You should grab sockets right away and for the time being just get cheap ones with life + one dps stat, like this: http://poe.trade/search/inagahamokomom
I think when i killed shaper i only had one or two jewels with two dps stats on them.

Okay awesome, thanks for the reply. Do you remember what level you killed shaper at? I'm only 71 atm so I still have plenty of room for growth on the skill tree and my gem levels aren't where they need to be yet but I'm having a ton of fun with the build so far.

Probably 90 or so. Don't worry, unless you rush atlas progression, you'll be ready for shaper before you even get there.

Perfect, this is my second char so my atlas progression is decent, think 70 completed and at level 71 I'm able to do tier 2s comfortably but I definitely gotta start forking over some currency for gear upgrades, belly seems necessary and they're so damn expensive this league but I'm sure I'll be looking much better by the time I'm 90, thanks for the help friend.

Not OP but I've just hit 80 using this build, only currency I really had to fork over so far is for Doryani's catalyst, most other pieces were just a couple chaos or shit I found and I'm demolishing stuff up to t12 right now without issues. I'm still a bit squishy but I haven't gotten belly and missing good life rolls on a few pieces/jewels but my damage is looking good for level 80 I have nearly 300k buffed and I melt most bosses. So I imagine 300c should set you up pretty good if I was able to do it on maybe 80-100c.

300c should get you everything except a 6l belly, definitely enough to do all content.

Upgrade your rapier, something with similar crit and edps, but closer to 2 aps. Try to go for better jewelry, wed on rings and amu, accuracy on one of the rings. When you get doryani's you'll be ready for all content. Also, even with dark seer i'd still use a stibnite flask instead of basalt, if you want mitigation then make a proper whirling blades setup with fortify.
