[3.10] From League Starter to Shaper – Cheap, Tanky, Fast and Fun Physical ST – Very Detailed Guide

This was my first ssf character. Got lucky and used 3 chance orbs to get my Belly (used on a 6 socket) and only took 3 Chimera runs to get 2 claws. Playing SSF. My gear:


Got this from my first shaper. Deathless until the third phase.


Weapons before the The Scourge:

Yes this build works well as SSF because the only requirement is the Scourge which (as you discovered) is an easy one. But I must say you've been particularly lucky with the Belly and Starforge (although I shouldn't complain as I got the Sun flask on my first run in the league).

Your gear is pretty good for SSF. I'd suggest better rings but I know that's not easy. You can try divining the scourges though. With your luck you could get perfect rolls.

Getting perfect life and resist rolls on the Belly was insanely lucky too. I have 2 more steel rings that I need to craft. Also an ilv 85 bone helm that could help raise the damage too. I definitely need to divine the scourges, just need that lucky divine drop.

When blood rage is active, my life never reaches 100%. It's stuttering between 5511/5512 over 5515(max). How to solve this? I dont think Ive had this issue ever since but Im only noticing it now.

Don't worry about that, there's nothing to fix. You leech more than you degen so you're on full life. GGG should fix their display algorithm.

Got it! Thanks! Had to take out the full damage gem so my DPS suffered a bit lol.

Thanks for the amazing build guide. Have killed elder guardians with this character, and this is only my second league, so I am very happy with your guide.. Have been building my character on a budget, but just unexpectedly came into some wealth tonight, so was wondering what you would suggest upgrading. I know amulet needs to be better, and 1 ring for sure, but unsure where to go after that. And please keep in mind, up until this point my budget had been about 35 chaos, but now I have a couple exalts I can spend, so just looking for suggestions. and the enchant on the helm was from my 1 and only uber lab run, so please ignore that.
