Oni-Goroshi in Current League - are You gonna farm it or drop it?

Mm i dno.. her embrace is so much fire dmg, i dont think i will make a build with those new skilld and oni goroshi.

I find it terribly relaxing to grind Uber hillock 😊
My league basicly "starts" when i've farmed two of those 😉

That fire dmg is based on phys dmg. When You treat it as something "extra" then it works great. Also can do conversion - like my current Jugg.

Slayer ascendancy's Brutal Fervor took care of her embrace for the build I used.

Are there going to be any changes to obtaining Oni Goroshi, what with Hillock playing a part in the Leagues mechanics..?

Finally as a casual play of my beach farmer it happened on the 2nd run today:

My second Oni-Goroshi in Delve expansion. I keep saying "1 and done" but my insanity and affinity to pounding sand lingers on.

Charan is right (never doubted) and if you can face-tank uber Hillock then he won't leap slam and thus he won't generate a horde of minions. Just needed to see for myself to verify. It's true although somewhat dangerous. My witch would lose approx. 80% of health from 1 hit. Fortunately I was evading hits most of the time so I only needed to move away once so I killed him easy in < 1 minute straight up in his face fire-balling him. This makes it much less of a chore to clean the beach of the corpses (but are we really sure they will stay 100% dead?). No new members of the Twilight Strand Level 9 Beach Club this league (thank the RNG gods or curse the GGG overlords).

I think it should be understood that unless a creature is permanently derezzed then there is always a chance to be resurrected. Just ask Miracle Max. There is a fine line between "mostly dead" and "completely dead".

I think I might be grinding for this sword again at the beginning of Betrayal. The two new skills with that impale debuff seem really interesting... I need more info on them before I make the decision though.

After doing away with all fire damage on a couple builds over a few seasons, so I wouldn't have to deal with her blessing every time I hit something, I probably wont grind it out in Betrayal.

But who knows, things might be different this time around. I might build up enough early fire resistance, maybe loot that ring soon enough to make it matter, maybe even decide that I'd rather play melee instead of summoner or shadow... but I doubt it.

For me there is no decision to make, I know I will be farming the Oni. My problem is in that I always start out with a 4 farmer rotation and once I get the first one it always feels like "well I've got 3 more builds into level 8, it's ashame to waste them" so I end up playing them in between my main builds and then when I finally get a 2nd one (like I just did this morning) it's a "why the hell did a waste time grinding another one". Old habits are hard to break.

Even if you don't go with a build that can use "Her embrace" debuff, just having a 6L weapon makes it a ton better fast running the bases... err... the 10 acts with most sword builds. You can always switch it out later on.
