The reduced critical strike chance doesn't mean that BV has 0% crit chance.
The reduced crit chance just cancels 100% increased chance that you get elsewhere. It's added to the sum of all increases and reductions.
It's just some trade off for the crazy amount of dmg you get from the "more" multiplier.
Also note that CD can't reduce the crit chance of a spell below 5%.

the reduced crit chance is not good for us, but its still worth taking for the other buffs from the gem.
even with this gem you should still get close to 90% effective crit chance.

For the moment im building some currency to realy make a " push gear " to go as deep as possible in Delve.
But for the moment, with a full MF build ( execept gloves ), bad res , and 4.5k Hp and without MOM im flying around at 320 depth. Also doing all Guardians with this Mf gear.
So for those asking, don't worry too much , and early, the build is super strong, and pretty safe with the leech .

Hmm no i am not lying...even with full Mf gear i have like 900k shaper/guardian dps...If you save the Vaal BV and potions, guadians dies in like 10sec max, and with WB it's super easy to fly everywhere to dodge.
i've have no interest into lying, it's just a game calm down.

Dude you dont even have a MoM and have only 4.5k HP. You get oneshoots occasionally vs Guardians, probably while delving as well. You have 900k shaper DPS? Wheres ur such DPS coming from then, it cannot be only those 2 daggers, and your jewels are not exactly GG kind jewels.

With flasks my 10blades Bv is at 890k shap dps and the vaal Bv is at 350k... and with the normal shaper mark/elder ring and so on gear Bv is at 1.5M shaper dps, it's prety normal with this build.
Doing all t16 maps with this gear, and now im a 320 ish delve and it's working perfectly well...The leech on the boots is massive, in delve with big mob density, it's just huge .

He probably isn't lying about the kills. Look at his challenges, he has a few guardian kills, and he only has one character in Delve.
No need to act like that.
