Am I supposed to do this in the middle of hectic boss fight? :/
Not wanting to offend anyone, but I have taken this build to level 70 and it feels extremely weak to me. I'm slightly nooby though, this is only the 5th char I've taken to any decent level, so I could be completely wrong on that. It's fine for clearing packs, but then any old crap build can murder packs. I have severe doubts about the buid's late game viability against bosses. Even the 2nd labyrinth trial boss was a bit of a nightmare! I am going to take it to at least 70 as I plan to try to incorporate The Scourge into the build and see how that goes. Did you know level 91 is the halfway point to level 100? This means that a softcore character dying ONCE at level 85+ can lose many days of progress.

Not sure how to share my gear. It's nothing special. Resists are almost capped and most items have Life and Resists. I gave up on the Scourge as it doesn't work with Smite. So instead I am using a simple fast high DPS one-hander.

Yo Ghazzy.
Since the release of the new minion support gems, your build is gonna be bonkers in 3.8. Feeding Frenzy, carrion golem for the extra phys to the minions and deathmark for obvious reasons. Do you think you will update your build for 3.8, or leave it up to ppl to play around with the new gems? I know we dont have any info on gems yet, but will love to hear your input on this, since you are the summoner king :) | |

Hi, so I've played this build as a starter for like three hardcore leagues now and every time I've ripped in my early 70s while doing white maps. I'm not a great player but usually I have no trouble at least making it to red maps.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but the build feels incredibly squishy to me especially since it seems necessary to stay up close to all the mobs at all times and there's always this slight delay before my minions come in and actually start killing stuff. Even with good hp values I'm just melting. With all the summoner buffs in Blight I want to try this build again. You guys got any advice on how to stay alive? Is it my playstyle? Is it my gear? Should I take any alternate passives if I got trouble not ripping? Any help is appreciated. Oh and one more thing I was wondering: is there any way to prevent my golem or my remaining sentinels from killing the Writhing Jar worms before I do? That just keeps happening. You can put https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Fortress_Covenant
in the socket near quick recovery. You'd have to unspecc that notable tho. |
