I leveled this build with chober chaber and later, chaber cairn. It was good. But it's so much better with a scourge and prism guardian! It's hard to believe!
I thought having a 6-link (got a nice corrupted chaber cairn cheap with the right colors) would be better, and my Shav's is only a 5-link. But honestly, having the extra auras is so much better for survivability, and WB is a better mobility skill. I don't even need faster attacks (though I'm sure it would be better, I'm still optimizing my sockets) Quoting Saltychipmunk:

Hi everybody! Its been a while as I started a new job and haven't had much time to play POE. Plus there was a few other builds I wanted to try. Now that it is towards the end of the league and I have a bit of currency to burn I have created Mk.2 version of the build. We have more damage and even more survive-ability for ourselves and a lot more for our minions.

Looking forward to it. Had a nice time with it on delve. I stopped at 450ish cause the one shot came along. But i have to say it was the best experience in PoE so far. Love this Build and hope i can use it at a starter on betrayal.

Uber Elder Down! Man those normal rarity madness propagators were a major PITA! Very difficult fight as sentinel generation is a major problem but it can be done, even deathless with a bit more care. I'll post the video up tomorrow as I am tired and going to bed.
Also tried an Uber Atziri run but it was a piece of cake. | |

We now have grace and determination added on for bossing and delving. For maps we can switch to Wrath and Anger instead. For Uber Elder I ended up using Wrath/Anger just because we need to kill those Madness Propagators as fast as possible. We also dropped Vaal Skellies to add in fortify to our six link. Gear was a few big changes. Using an alpha's howl with an aura reservation enchant so we can reserve our extra auras. We using corrupted +2 Gem levels on our shield and boots and our sharper's gloves have a curse on hit corruption. Changed flasks around as ele resistance is really good for Delve and we can go up to 90/90/91%. Tree is pretty much the same though I went with RT on uber elder to maximize sentinel spawns. Thanks for the build write up!
I plan on playing that for 3.5 league start after testing it and liking it so far in 3.4 That new Unique Helm looks good for this build. Any major changes you have planned/theory for 3.5? | |
