[3.5] Triple Herald Impalor >>> [SHATTERING STEEL CHAMPION] <<< Melt your enemies! [Cheap Starter]
What enchants are you guys using for this build? Probably should post that in the guide as well.

Looked up shattering steel builds because I enchanted a Brine Crown with the Shattering Steel added projectile enchant, looking forward to giving this skill a go

I've been having some issues as I level with mana. Do you just suggest getting more mana on hit/kill? (Since we only use the one mana leech node and the mana pool we have to work with is small.) I whirling blades and almost a 3rd of the mana is gone!

Question. So you say whirling blade sis amazing but if you're using a 2h...what movement ability would you recommend?

" Hi, I added a "Q&A" part in the guide where I answered your question. " Mana on hit is very effective for this build because we always hit with multiple projectiles. A thief's torment is also very good option for leveling. " Leap Slam [3.2] Bashtart's Spark Inquisitor: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1838569

" Hi, I added a spoiler "Leveling Uniques" in the leveling section of this build... I leveled with Terminus Est from lvl 51 to 70 which pretty much carried me in this time. [3.2] Bashtart's Spark Inquisitor: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1838569

Why you don't go for the fortitude?

" Not worth it imo... you can easy proc fortify with whirling blades. [3.2] Bashtart's Spark Inquisitor: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1838569

Playing one as well (92 at the moment) and here are some remarks from my experience:
A darkness enthroned with 2 damage roll abysall jewels (crit multi, attack speed, adds physical damage to attacks/swords) provide roughtly the same dps as the Nomad does, but can provide 120+ health at the same time. It will cost you a lot more, but if health is a problem later on, it's not a bad choice to look at for upgrades. (costed me roughly 1 ex for each jewel, belt is cheap) Is the triple herald really worth it? I'm playing as pure physical damage, and my damage is pretty similair to yours in PoB (Bit lower, but got higher impales to balance it out), using fork instead of GMP and a Greywoodshank as MH weapon (beltimer offhand). It allowes for more defensive auras and flasks. Fork has a wierd interaction with shattering steel, qua shot-gunning. It seems an enemy can get hit by both the projectile as the cone ability, and fork seems to coppy this behavior, allowing both projectiles to hit the main target as well. I'm not 100% sure about this, but as it feels I got more single target damage with fork than slower projectile, I assume it works like that as PoB shows I should do 40-50% more damage with slower projectiles. |
