I finally got to watch the finale tonight after being out-of-country for a week.
... I can't believe that anyone would ever hire these writers again for anything other than jump-scare straight-to-dvd horror flicks. If it was just "oh they countered the trope" that would be one thing, but this was a non-stop barrage of illogical events by the characters in the universe. At the end of the Game of Thrones, nobody is playing the game and there is no meaning behind the throne. --- I am partial to the "Bran is an evil mastermind" idea. He saw so much and could have changed the course of events, but he'd rather let a million people burn so that he could become king. Why else do you think he came all that way, after all? |
