How do you manage the 197 dex to get going onto the perfect form?

Is there a massive benefit to the perfect form I'm missing? Arctic armor is ok, but it seems like the carcass jack was ideally suited to our build.



Also anyone else shoehorning Herald of Ice intot he build for the pretty celestial herald effects? :D

You gain:
- A good chunk of evasion
- 30% chance to dodge spell hits
- Arctic Armour (13% less phys/fire damage taken!)

Arctic Armour alone is worth more than 400 ES. The dex requirement is really not that bad. I have dex on ring and gloves and could even fit culling strike on gloves into my setup (super strong btw).

Guys managed to get some good drops yesterday :D
Right now my build is this i have 3 ex spare to invest what should i get first?

a 10% MoM Watchers Eye.

Without it, we have about as much HP as we have Mana, if not more mana then life...yet only 40% MoM. So in my eyes it's a must, at least eventually.

I started in this league with the ice nova build and it makes a lot of fun to play. It takes some time to accustom with the playstyle but now i think i'm fine with it.

But my Problem is that I struggle to kill the Metamorph Bosses cuz i cant bring the dmg on them.
They are everytime in my face and i cant position properly to cast my frostbolt/ice nova. In the earlier Maps my dmg was high enough and they were always frozen but in the higher maps (currently tier10-14) they arent frozen anymore and bbring more dmg back to me.

I'm currently save up some currency to get a Pandemonius Amulet but this will take a long time.

Right now my lifepool is at 4k life,2k ES and 2,2k/4,6k Mana
75@ all and 46 Chaos res


Any tips/ideas how to solve this problem?

Perfect Form itelsf increases your dex, so sometimse I used to use item that gives DEX just to enable PF, then equip it and I could remove that first item, DEX was no longer needed.

Currently metamorphs are bugged, they are working on them. That's why it is so hard for this build to kill them, they cannot be frozen or chilled. Once that's fixed, you will laugh at them.

Even with the bug I've been laughing at them. I'm in high tier red maps wrecking them in seconds.

Wanted to thank the creator of the build and share a couple of thoughts to others peoples concerns here.

Right now I have pretty expensive gear but without several of these pieces it was still easy stomp of everything including high tier metamorphs.

I´m running much easier colors in perfect form than most people here, only losing out on increased duration for the cold snap links. That means I can run the cold snap as 4 blue in one of the other random items.

I got the amulet with heart of ice (you should also really quality this one for extra pen and damage as some have pointed out!).

I´ve done all bosses now, including deathless 8 awakener and uber elder with accidental possessed foe. Metamorphs in all maps melt in seconds (maps where mobs avoid chill and freeze a lot hurts dps though).

I could get even higher damage but would then lose some tankiness, currently this build is absurdly tanky if you have mom watchers eye and very high mana (4.7k life and almost 5k unreserved mana). Tankiness really helps when you run crazy maps with high awakening since the mobs get a lot of extra damage and speed.

I just recently got watchers eye, skyforth and one awakened support gem but they are not at all necessary, I would advice those of you looking for upgrades to get the amulet with annoint and quality and your 6 link staff as highest priority items and then just go from there.
