Also, because in the endgame the best thing that you can do for your survivability is to get a Watcher's Eye with the attribute that says "% of maximum mana as energy shield while under the affect of clarity aura." I was finally able to get one last night, thank to my guild mates all pitching in to help me get it (because they were tired of hearing me complain about dying haha), and that took me from 8k ES to 9.8k ES. That and the Radiant Faith ascendency REALLY make that mana worth it. Now I'm going to go back and tweak all of my jewels to ensure that they all have STR/MANA/ES on them so that I can try to break 10K ES :)

The biggest thing is just getting more reduced mana reservation from your gear and then jewels/skill tree. You can get:

2% more from amulet
2% more from jewels (conqueror's efficiency and healthy mind)
1-2% more from you belt by switching to either a rare abysal or the unqiue abysal with 2 sockets
2-3% Might of the Meek Jewel (placed below Leadership, just respect OUT of leadership)

You can also try to get an enchant on your helm to further reduce one of the mana reservation of one of your auras. So, there's room another 5-10% reduced mana reservation for you, and more if you get lucky with a helm enchantment.

Im currently trying some changes to fit vigilant strike + the vigil that sweet 20 seconds of fortify are really really nice to avoid dying we also are running a scepter so probably swapping smite to see if it's worth

Hi. I am excited to finally play this character. I got to level 80 and got nearly identical gears as Leonidas313. I am able to get max resist running all the purities and have 11 auras up. Can you please explain what I need to change? I am in HC so the jewels/items are much harder to obtain.

P.S. ignore the jewels and the flasks. I am working on them currently.

edit: I just spoke with Leonidas313 in game and this build may not actually be HC viable. I'm actually wondering if I should continue playing this or just stop now while I still have the gears.

The build seems like it'll work, though 20 auras without the legacy amulet that's impossible to get in current league is just not feasible. I think it should be addressed.

Is anyone else's guardian dying left and right? got a max gem and it's level 25 but still dying easily.

Alright I might be an idiot here...but I'm only able to run like 5-6 auras and then my mana is capped. I know I can get another 2% from might of the meek once I get a few levels and skyforth boots when I make a few sales...but will just those two allow me to run anything besides 1 aura in my chest? I also have 4% from jewels in my tree as well.

I've never played a aura guardian before so I may be way off but some help would be appreciated.

So I've just started playing this build, and after a good few hours of figuring everything out, the character came out pretty god damn strong. With the lack of the legacy 12% mana reserved affix / Darkness Enthroned, I still managed to pull off 17 auras with ele weakness on blasphemy. I can probably squeeze in another curse/aura within a few levels and I'm missing the clarity watcher's eye but it's already a great party help :)
