[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!
"I'll get back to it when I'll get glancing blows / more block %, for now gonna use CWDT setup. Also, Second Wind in PoB is unnecessary I think as it's simply doesn't work on Frostblink. Frostblink is instant so it doesn't get anything from Second Wind, just a nerf on lower levels (longer CD). Last edited by MrCinos#7558 on Aug 20, 2022, 2:29:41 PM

" Hey, Reckoning + Hextouch + Flammability definately works. As for the Second Wind, it does also work for Infernal Cry, which does help the clearspeed. If you use Flame Dash instead of Frostblink it works for that as well. |

" Thanks for thinking of me Puppy! Sirgog posted this in his video as an update IMPORTANT UPDATE: It appears that 'Infinite Heist' is working again. I believe it was down only ================= From what I have seen there is a problem with the portals in Grand Heist. People say they are losing their wings when they portal back to empty their stash and that is not suppose to happen. I don't know if this is fixed yet. I am about to hit Act 8 tonight so I should be heisting soon. My character is RIDICULOUSLY fast and RIDICULOUSLY thin. It should be an interesting combo :) I don't intend to trigger the alarm unless I absolutely have to so that should make things much safer. Just to reiterate, Reckoning will proc the curse CONSTANTLY once you are in T16 maps with max block.
Second Wind is a back bone of the build. Do not remove it unless you absolutely have too. In T16's, you need as much up time as possible on Infernal Cry or maps are going to take forever. |

I see, didn't think about Infernal Cry there so I'll keep it in mind.
Also realized why reckoning-hextouch-flam combo didn't work for me, need a melee weapon for Reckoning to proc so gotta stash it until I swap to Cerberus. Last edited by MrCinos#7558 on Aug 20, 2022, 7:41:25 PM

Took me ~20 hours but I finally got to the maps.
Campaign experience was pretty smooth, the only item I bought for myself was in the middle of act 9, simply because it cost only 5 chaos orbs. I used 4-link Incinerate and 3-link Firestorm during the whole journey to the maps and the damage felt more than enough to never skip anything including tanky essence mobs from Kalandra lakes. In-game Tooltip for Incinerate showed 25-27k DPS before 3rd Lab/Kitava. Also, that Level 20 recipe wand for Add Fire Damage to Spells ended up carrying me from act 2 till mid act 8 where I found a better rare wand. My current passive tree is a bit all over the place, but I'll get on track after I acquire better shield, clusters and solve mana regen issues via rings. Though I probably wont spec from Asylum node and Corrupted Blood immunity node for a long while as Corrupted Blood was the only thing that was shredding me to pieces and Flask mod is not really an option cause you won't be able to sustain the flask vs some really tanky Corruptor rares, at least until your dps gets into big numbers. Getting 30% Chaos res "for free" also feels pretty good while you're scrambling for currency. Also, going back to me thinking if I can combine some other skill for clear, I ended up liking using Firestorm for some trash clear because going Firestorm (0.36 cast time atm) into Infernal Cry to explode the pack felt quite a bit smoother than using Infernal Cry (0.61 'cast' time) into Incinerate and the difference will be even bigger with faster cast speed, unless I'm missing something that can make Infernal Cry faster to use in the build. I imagine Firestorm won't be able to keep up on red maps without high investment though and ofc you'd have to sacrifice 4 other slots for that as well. But I'll keep the option in mind for my late-late game testing as an alternative for faster clear instead of using Asenath gloves, assuming I'll get there - eiter way, gotta get and build the basics first. Overall, I really like the fact that I keep getting ideas for the future, which only makes me get attached and interested in the build more and more. Great work and ideas MrCinos! Keep us informed with how things go with your experiments as you get deeper in maps!

With everyone complaining about drops in maps I am really glad I chose infinite heist. It is so incredibly consistent. My Heist character is complete, and I am now already buying gear for Incinerate as my second build while heisting since I don't need to spend anything else on the heist character.
I picked up a decently rolled Cerberus to start things off. Stampede is next up. Raw chaos drops plus the nonstop chaos recipe is causing more chaos early in a league than I ever saw before. I have not even seen a good drop yet. Just the basic stuff all adds up quickly. I think I played for less than an hour today and made 60c raw chaos (plus all the other stuff I pick up along the way). Why is this in the templar forum???

" This build is very very old. When it first started, it was as an Inquisitor. Over the years, GGG has made many changes to the game and as such we have adapted the build to different classes but keeping the core of the build the same. For 3.19 we feel that Elementalist will be the strongest. It has been the strongest in other leagues for us and we think it will again. Since it changes quite often, we decided to not start a new thread each league since we have a ton of knowledge stored up in this thread. @claeysken, since this is a very common question, it might be worth adding a note to the very top of the first post stating this. |
