Any defensive flask is fine.

I tried this build. Not for me.
Squishy, DPS on Big Bosses is low. Map Clear is ok and looks nice.

All in all: Hipster build with too low all in all abilities.

I don't think so. To get max value out of memory vault you'd need to reserve most of your mana. Being on low mana in risky for Ivory Tower builds. You'd need to run skitterbots and drop arcane cloak.

I found someone on poe.ninja who is using atziris reflection, with double damage compared to this build. But this build has 20% dodge (with 5k+ mana) and max chaos resist. And the extra damage is not really needed.

With one large cluster jewel and 2 mediums, this build can have increased damage by about 30%, with 5% lost ES, I only checked in PoB, copied jewels from the poe.ninja build, and dropped nodes on right side.

Personally I use shield charge with fortify. I just charge/flame dash around , place totems and loot :)

Thank you! I'm glad someone likes it. I agree, I didn't feel like I needed more damage, so I like version more. I'm intereted in the cluster jewel setup, I might keep this guide around for one more league before retiring it, so I don't mind making it better.

I like your gem setup more, dropping culling strike, second wind and faster casting for free fortify will make mapping a lot safer.

I have put one large with 2 medium cluster jewels into my tree in PoB. https://pastebin.com/4MBxcYSN. If you switch back to default tree with my original tree, you need to manually disable unnerve in config.
DPS increase on boss with channeling is about 20%. Lost 600 ES. Gained culling strike (moved arcane surge to cluster).
Can also drop another 600 ES for 10% more dmg with another large cluster jewel. There are many variants.

I have switched to one large cluster, you can see in poe.ninja, now I have unnerve, culling strike and arcane surge from clusters. I have one free gem slot. Maybe i put portal or second wind or enduring cry there.
