Will Harvest Become Core Path of Exile Content?
" No offense but if you don't even know how crafting works, then you should learn about it first to form an opinion. The reason you could apparently buy stuff that easily is that everything was more available and accessible because of the crafting. Whatever you bought would have been way more expensive in any other league |

" My dude you have 2 challenges done this League. You'll get way more ex if you kill Dominus. |

Can't wait for next league when people will realize just how good harvest was, it's back to mindlessly farming currency with no sense of progression at all, total RNG crafting and buying most of your gear for insane prices.

I do think that the garden was tedious and not something I personally enjoyed, but crafting all my own gear felt very rewarding.
It made me less tight with my currency this league and made me put more things in the guild stash tab since I knew I was crafting everything myself, might as well put this 50C item in the guild stash tab and let someone who needs it have it. Look, I'm not going to be over dramatic like a lot of people posting saying they are done with the game till POE 2 comes out if harvest crafts don't go core, but I am sad that I'm going to go back to being stingy with my currency so I can afford my top tier gear again. Not only did it make me give a lot to my guild this league, it also made me not feel bad about using scarabs and fragments. Most of the time I sell them to save for gear upgrades, this league, didn't have to worry about that. I appreciate you keep us informed, I can kinda see why you don't want it in the game fully, but for those of us that only play league it's great and makes me want to play the league longer. Not related, but also looking forward to tab affinity! |

" No offense to you sir, but the stuff that you said was easy and cheap to buy would actually most likely not have been way more expensive in other leagues, infact it would of been cheaper most likely considering pure currency drops would be WAY more accessible in other leagues. Supply and Demand has huge diminshing returns when the population base is very low, hence Harvest league. If you want this in the core game then you don't really understand POE's power creep, especially right now. The game would be significantly worse if anybody could just easily craft whatever they wanted WITHOUT spending currency. There's a reason this league had a fairly low player population comparatively and a huge drop off of players almost instantly. I do think some of the t3+ crafts would be nice to have in some way in the game, but for the most part Harvest was just an "unlimited currency, craft whatever you want league", and the game is far better off in the long term without it. " Yes i've only 2 challenges because real life is a B. Mainly played Standard. Exalts loot is abysmal, nothing would have changed if i played more... PS : I managed to kill Dominus :P Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts. Gambling is not fun nor a game mechanic... Last edited by Azarhiel#6045 on Aug 13, 2020, 11:42:01 AM

Sad.
Harvest felt like crafting. All the rest of the "crafting" mechanics are random gambling and no fun at all. |

Harvest is trash.(mods keep deleting everything else I post)
-Official Forum Dweller- -I started the hoho movement- -Exploit Early - Exploit Often- -Moderators are absurd and OP- -Heist Enjoyer- Last edited by xPiranha#4678 on Aug 13, 2020, 11:43:13 AM

So, playing a casino simulator that is touted as "crafting" is a better option then?
Harvest was the right direction for this game, and the illusions GGG has about the "item economy" doesn't apply to more than 90% of the player base. Please stop making balance decisions based around a highlight reel of items showcased on reddit. For every showcased item there, there are thousands if not tens of thousands of mid-level items players have crafted with a finally-viable-crafting-system in harvest. You'll be gutting all those as well. Harvest felt like crafting after a very long time, because "crafting" your item does not destroy it in the process and you can continue to incrementally craft it while you use it. Every other "crafting" in PoE has to be done on a spare item - it cannot be done on an item you are currently using because the "craft" inherently destroys the item until you luck out on the final item you want. In that sense, Harvest is much better than vanilla crafting (which is more of a glorified gambling anyway). |
