I figure Anger is best since it offers a good chunk of flat fire spell damage. Due to Salvo's rather low amount of flat damage for it's base it's a better option (even with 40% damage effectiveness value) compared to a more damage multiplier and some crit. It's why immolate in general is actually good for this skill, and for self-casting Archmage is also pretty good due to the number of times this spell hits.

" Flammability does benefit from faster casting. The slower projectiles is on there because it provides bonus % projectile damage to the whole build without applying slower projectiles to our totems. The actual slower projectiles portion is entirely useless, its the rest of the prefix that you want. | |
Maybe this has been asked and I missed it, but there were already 5 pages of replies.
Why put Faster Casting Support linked to Dash? The Dash gem explicitly states it can not benefit from cast speed modifiers. | |

now that Blazing salvo has been fixed to work with projectile supports it is worth swapping some of the gems for gems for chain, or fork?

" That might be slightly better but the issue becomes getting all of your projectiles to hit the boss at the same point. |
