3.12.2 Patch Notes Preview
In the past it was a great fun playing leagues after a week in.
This time it doens't get better, more like worse. Still dozens of bugs preventing me from doing league mechanics, like bugged greater heists, no exp and so on. And this patch on top only made loot feeling worse. |

Roll back the reward changes, otherwise heist is not even worth doing now.

Half a gig, to change some number values... no wonder you are looking to hire programmers from literally any country besides New Zealand. That's the dumbest optimization I can imagine. "Hank we need to adjust a number value in a text file" "Okay, that't be 466MB, because I'm an inbred retard, and I bundled some gifs with it" Holy fuck, what a bunch of dumbasses.

Before the patch we had a total new kind of gameplay (that needed to be tuned), but it was refreshing ! You felt the pressure and the necessity to stay alive while getting out, and while approaching the exit you got more and more excited and once you escaped it felt like a true relief. Now Heist is like a basic lab that takes 5 min each instead of the classic 40 seconds zoom league mechanic. So much FUN indeed.
GGG needed to make the alert growing while we're spotted in the first place instead of killing monsters, Reddit cried about it and now there is no interest at all in the league mechanic (gameplay wise), and if GGG adjusts it again to make the alert system matter once again with guards : everybody will cry because that's taking away an easyness and people hate when it goes that way. GGG made a game design mistake for sure but Reddit killed the league. It's very sad to see that of all this mess could have been avoided by simply thinking the "sneaking and stealthy alert system" as a "threatening damage sustainability", which fits the ARPG style much more. No logic issu by increasing an alert by leaving no witnesses, but simply logic with increasing the threatening damage sustainability while a guy comes in and butchers your base and you have to react to protect it and end the threat (our character). " That's a good thing. |

Please lower the alert level off small boxes at least. Right now with 3.12.2 sometimes I leave more than 50% of small boxes untouched not mentioning the Reward Chests.. those I don't even dream of anymore. Alert Level right now is too much on every type of chest inside heists.
Another mad thing is how you can get EXTRA Alert Level from blue/rare contracts. Those mods should be killed like alert level on guards. |

Still love Heist, made 5 pure Ex in it (+1 that Heist kept ^^')
And thx for fixing the bug that prevented my Shav to get 6 linked ! (1520 fuse) Also, Dedisdead 3 post above is right, difficulty and change of gameplay is good - give reddit back legion on map device they don't need to play heist. Restore the alert level.
No one is going to play this game if we don't. |

Killing mobs giving alert was totally fine and fair if it wasn't for the following fact.
-leaving alerted mobs alive give 0. I would think if you robbing something you would follow the following priority list. Dont get seen > killing a guard(it leaves a body so other guard will sound a alarm once they find it but it will take time for a patrol to spot it)> run past a guard that see you(he knows your there and so will go sound the alarm) Balancing it so ignore everything was a bad move best would have been if a mobs get alerted it generate alarm if you dont kill it in 30 or so sec. each mob gives alert if you kill them but they dont give it if they already gave it from spotting you. Your hardly sneaky if you just run past everything, it is still a robbery since the one getting robed spots you. its called a grab and run. It is basically like a purse/phone thief they run to the person steal their purse/phone. I will not call it a heist. pickpocketing is closer to a heist than that. |
