Hideout Competition

Here's my offering - autumn may be turning into winter in the real world, but in the Lush hideout it has only just begun.
Mushroom circles and an offering left at the palace doors hint at a mystical presence...

THEME: I wanted to make like the tree spawns my portals.

Its a big tree in the middle of a small village i made in eclipsed hideout :)

Sandy Rocks in the middle of the jungle.

The hideout goals were:

high performance (Framerate fps)

Not to overuse the hideout with ton of small details.

Spacious for giant walking.

Some npc were naughty so cages were in order.

I swear if they make some maven "Simon says" insta-death minigame, sirus, exarch ball minigame then i wont play poe2.

Title: Fount Royal
Hideout: Vast Plains
Decoration Count: 750
Theme: The Carolinas, 1699: The citizens of Fount Royal believe a witch has cursed their town with inexplicable tragedies—and they demand that beautiful widow Rachel Howarth be tried and executed for witchcraft. Presiding over the trial is traveling magistrate Issac Woodward, aided by his astute young clerk, Matthew Corbett. Believing in Rachel's innocence, Matthew will soon confront the true evil at work in Fount Royal.... (this paragraph was taken directly from the description of the book)
The inspiration for my Hideout comes from the book "Speaks the Nightbird". A work of historical fiction by Robert R. McCammon. This was a project that I began just prior to the announcement of the hideout competition and, in my defense, is my first attempt at a detailed themed hideout. I started with the Vast Plains Hideout, removed all of the grass patches, and began with an entirely blank slate. The plan was to create as much of what I had envisioned from the book within the space available and within the 750 decoration limit. The hideout includes my interpretations of several notable locations and features from the book. Among these are the homes of Rachel Howarth (the accused witch), Lucretia Vaughn (the town busybody), Seth Hazelton (the town blacksmith), Robert Bidwell (the towns founder), the hidden body of Daniel Howarth, the gaol (pronounced "jail") where the widow Howarth awaits trial, the town fountain (represented by the map device), the orchard that suffers from a blight that has rendered its trees fruitless (blamed on the witchcraft of Rachel Howarth), and the town cemetery. There are a number of other references inspired by events in the book but, for fear of boring readers any further, i will just say that this was a very carefully thought out design.

I believe the final mtx count was 7, and that was mostly just for the Halloween pumpkins and graves.

Seaside State

I created a state standing over a cliff. a rocky road leads you to the courtyard, then you can access to some halls of the state.

Name: Zeus sanctuary
Tile set: celestial hideout

small note everything down is fictional and the titles are just to draw the picture hope no one is offended also the golden statues where dressed
small story or a background to the hideout to understand the purpose of the hideout

Spoiler
this story is about how Zeus made a place to stay away from Olympus when his family act crazy (like they do most of the time)
optional to read
so in the great mythology Cronus killed his father Uranus and because he was afraid of the same thing repeat but to himself, he ate his children but Zeus, then we all know Zeus humiliated him later and became the KING OF OLYMPUS *yay* hades hates Zeus because he gave him the underworld to "rule" his wife Hera hates him because he cheated on her couple of times, and in the great fight when Zeus fought Typhon no one stood by with Zeus beside Hermes later but at first he was alone (not that the great king of Olympus needs help) but he fought Typhon for months until he brought him to the underworld.

*the non in mythology part starts here*

Zeus was disappointed in his family and they act so he made this sanctuary that we will take a look at where he goes away from Olympus when his family "tries to kill him" (as if they could) and let them calm down for a while and because Zeus is good olympian he allowed only Hermes to visit him through the map device to tell him what is going on in the mortal realm so he acts the right way
the Zeus way.

the entrance

the throne stand

the first lobby

the second lobby

the third lobby

the 4th lobby (sorry its a celestial hideout there are 4 parts)

the temple or where Zeus listen to mortals prayers

Zeus garden where he relaxes, I like this place it feels cozy

Zeus hot spring (i mean who dont want a hot spring time after a long day)

the last thing is the resting room where it has a cozy couch and got dinner table

final notes

I'm sorry if this post is long, I have a potato laptop but I managed to record less than a minute video for the showcase of the hideout, i removed the audio that its ok.

part1 of the video using imgur

we are done but last note: I did keep some esthetics of the celestial hideout because both
1- spartan wear red and gold some white with red and gold colors for high tier kings (in anime and games not suer about IRL but they use red check old god of war)
2- I dedicated a lot of my time farming the celestial hideout because i just loved it and in the end rewards are cool but I entered because i love decorating and loved my hideout the best reward is someone likes my work

thanks and have fun exile!!!!!!!!

Hi!!
Below is my 4th hideout to participate in the competition.

UNDERCITY MACHINERY

Many do not know, but for decades there have been many scientific experiments with space / time portals, using the minerals found by master Niko as fuel.
The first machine to open a portal was robust and horrendous. So horrendous, noisy and large that it was necessary to build it in a place where it would not disturb the residents of Karui Shores.

Muitos não sabem, mas durante décadas houveram muitos experimentos cientificos com portais do espaço/tempo, tendo como combustível os minerais encontrados pelo mestre Niko.
